Just incase some people didn't know, Skype allows free landline calls to anyone in US & Canada to anyone else in US & Canada until the end of the year, and may continue to be free beyond that. I've tried it and it works no problem. Check http://www.skype.com/products/skypeout/ for more info.
I just tried to call landline phone and it shown charges on my gizmo panel. My country was listed on the free call plan but looks like it is not free at all.
BTW, they gave $0.25 for testing so it is not out of my pocket.
