Earlier today, I was looking through a thread in the Archives folder entitled 'Teamearners a scam' or something like that (I should have took some screenshots for posterity). I'm not here making judgements as to what it is, as far as I'm concerned its an MLM. What interested me was the fact that it was in the archives thread. Some mod who I won't name had closed it and moved it there with the old standby 'trolling' as the justification. Needless to say the mod had Teamearners in their signature. There were no clear rules broken, the original poster was banned for what looked like no better reason than he was questioning the program, the thread locked and archived. Now, unsurprisingly, the thread has gone altogether. I always maintained that TG was straight and its mods didn't put their own interests first. As time goes on I'm becoming a lot less sure. I was always puzzled as to why Jeff (awty) resigned, I know why now............
There are around 5 or 6 people I could trust on this forum, sadly, not many of those are on the 'team' here.
No doubt if I carry on in this vein, I run the risk of being silenced myself, I no longer put it past those in charge here. As something of a defence I offer you this from the long forgotten threads here : http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r25115-.html

Spent a bit of time looking through thread starters post history last night...
That thread starter had lost the plot.....Was clear he had done his doe on hyip scams and was angry with the world....
14 identical posts in 14 different threads kinda does look a bit like trolling

"done his doe"?????? Do you mean a female deer or rabbit or maybe even a "roo" Kramer?
I assume that the guy has several posts removed when it was found he posted the same repetitive message over and over about several ops. I don't believe I did it unless it was a mass deletion of trolling posts.
Pluggy, at least you will see its clearly not a scam

I didn't save anything, and I can't remebember the poster. I'm content with whats been said in this thread concerning the issue. Who deleted it from archive remains a mystery however.
Regarding Teamearners, I'm confident it isn't a scam, an MLM with no real product perhaps, but accepting Paypal and CC gives it a fair degree of credibility. Paypal in particular are very tetchy about scams (I've been jumped on twice and I'm a good boy..... )
