Default The ever so popular: Banned from Ebay/Amazon

This article will focus on the ever so popular "Help! I've been banned from Ebay or Amazon!"

This article is as conclusive as I can make it and covers every thing you will need to get back to selling. If you follow these directions and do not skip any, or link old account information of any sort, you should be successful. This article is to be taken as a guideline only, and not literally. If you get banned again, you either linked old account information, a similar ip address, an email account, name or address, credit card info, Pay Pal account, or something else. If you are using this article to get back on Ebay/Amazon to commit additional fraud, it is my sincere hope that you are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I am writing this article for those that have legitimate reasons for being banned such as other users in the same residence doing something stupid or college/university networks that are banned on a massive basis by Ebay/Amazon.

Ok, first things first: you will need to invent a new name for yourself. You cannot operate under your real name as you are already known. Pick out a normal sounding name. Do not use a name that stands out as you will draw unwanted attention to yourself. Next, we have to back up this new name. We need a new email address that is preferrably not issued by Yahoo, Gmail, or Hotmail. Free email providers do not inspire trust from Ebay/Amazon authorities as any one can get them anonymously. A private/paid domain name is suitable in this case. A privacy protected domain name is acceptable in this case and will protect the whois information on the domain name so any one that looks the domain registrant up will not be able to see who owns or operates that particular domain. My prices for all these services will be listed at the end of this article. However, you do not have to use the paid services provided by my organization. You are free to use any one.

Now that we have a new name and email address, we have to work on your ip address. Contrary to popular belief, if you stay in the same subnet, you will be quickly caught by Ebay/Amazon authorities and have another ban coming your way. So this does us no good. Ebay/Amazon look pretty hard at ip addresses so we need to have one that supports your physical location as well. This means that if you register an account and claim your living in St. Paul, Minnesota, you need an ip address to back that up. Ebay & Amazon will be looking at this. Public proxies are not really good for this part because they tend to go down with no notice and at any time. If Ebay & Amazon see you continually switching ip addresses, this will bring you more unwanted attention. What we are looking for here is a dedicated or always on ip address. This means that you use the same ip address every time you sign on to use those services. A steady ip address goes further in the eyes of Ebay & Amazon administration than you might think.

Ok, we have covered a new name, new email address, and new ip address. However, we still need to build up your new identity. The next thing we need to look at is your old Pay Pal account. We need to stop using this. That was part of your old identity and cannot be linked to your new one. So forget about that one for now. Using your new email address, sign up for a new Pay Pal account. The next thing that comes up is verifying that new Pay Pal account. How do we do this? Pretty simple.....

Any local mall or gas station or convenience store has pre-paid credit/debit cards available in either denominational amounts or whatever amount you prefer to load on it. This is what we will need. Some cards will be better than others, so you may have to shop around to see which card has the best flexibility. You need to find cards that have the cvv2 code on the back of them. This is a must have, so pay attention to that. Next, you need to look for cards that can be registered online to the address of your choice. I believe among Visa and MasterCard, these are your 2 best choices. To my knowledge, American Express pre-paid cards do not allow you to register a personal address. It has been many years since I have had either, so the rules might have changed by now. Your best bet may also be to look online and see which pre-paid card issuers offer direct deposit to your card. This will cover your new bank account as far as Pay Pal is concerned. Now we have covered verifying your new Pay Pal account.

Ok, now we have a new name, a new email address, a pre-paid credit/debit card with a direct deposit bank account attached, and a verified Pay Pal account. We are looking real good at this point. Now we go for the gold - registering with Ebay and/or Amazon. Remember to use nothing but your new information. Any link to your old identity, no matter how small, they will find it and ban you again. I cannot tell you how important it is that you only use your new information when registering.

As a "new" user to Ebay/Amazon, you do not want to start listing like crazy or buying like there is no tomorrow. You need to start slowly and work your way up. Starting too quickly is again going to draw too much attention to yourself. If you are listing controversial items or high risk items, I would personally recommend waiting a few weeks before doing so. Start with normal every day items and work your way up. Listing copyrighted items or infringing items is another quick way to get banned. You do not want to known by Ebay/Amazon authorities which is why I highly recommend that you start out slowly.

Listed below are the products I carry that may assist you in your journey. Be advised that you do not have to buy these from me and may purchase them any where else on the internet:

Offshore Anonymous Email Accounts Under A Private Domain
SSH2 Accounts For New IP Addresses
Privacy Protected Domain Names
