I have checked TE for several days already now and found that especially the affiliate program very exciting. I know it is not hard for me to recruit leads in normal condition. I was really interested to purchase membership, mainly for the affiliate program. But when I checked deeper and clicked the FAQ's website which is directed here, I found something very disturbing.
I found a moderator here, f1rm, offered a bonus that obviously could not be resisted by everybody who clicks the FAQ in TE website and come here. Who will refuse virtually free membership for joining TE?
The first thing that come into my mind when I see that is: this is not fair. TG is tightly related to TE. Everyone who comes to TE website will be forcedly directed to TG. And surely most of them will see the offer from that moderator f1rm: free membership in TE. Knowing this, if he ever had any desire to join TE, he would join it under f1rm for the free membership.
Before you say "why not offer the same to the prospects?", I will ask you: how can I offer the same thing to them while my account in TE as a new member will obviously be empty? Should I transfer the $13 bonus directly to their PayPal/e-gold account? But that's very stupid! That way I will surely get many leads but of no quality because they don't have to work anything like getting their own leads to get their $13 back!
So, what's the point for me to join TE and promoting it? Nothing! Even all my promotions for TE would be waste of money: almost everybody who comes to TE because of my promotions will eventually join not using my referral link, but will use the reflink of f1rm instead. To me, it looks like a sabotage and unfair competition.
If TG not tightly connected to TE like now, where every TE visitor forcedly directed to TG, it might be alright for f1rm to give that offer. But with the current condition, joining and paying membership for TE will only a waste of money, not to mention the money spent for promoting TE everywhere to get leads.
So, please stop that offer here in TG. It's just unfair to other members. It will even sabotage their efforts in getting leads.

I don't get it. He's free to offer anything he wants. So am I with my offer. While it might cost him more than it makes him profit, while he might be attracting the not too active referrals but rather an audience that wants to peak inside. If he wants to offer this, it is solely his decision and responsibility, no?
With my offer, I'm aiming for the more active referrals. Different strategy.
If we don't allow his offer, where do we draw the line?

How can you call it sabotage?? I don't get it either. Ok pretend I am someone that is not in TE but click your link somewhere on the net where you are advertising TeamEarners. I land on TE page so how could I even see any other members ref offer in first place?
If you are someone that wants to actively build a downline you need to have your own offer on a page or in an advert that interested people read and then they click your link. The offer doesn't have to be a $$ back one either.
Re: "Sabotage" from TalkGold to TeamEarners Members
Don't you see it? TE is the only MLM site that when we click the FAQ button we'll see offers from other members (unfortunately, those "other members" are the ones that are most probably very closely related to the TE owners - the inner circle if I have to say it more blatantly). I don't mean to specifically aim at f1rm. I mentioned his name just because at the time I wrote the thread I only found his offers. I did not even know then the facts that other TG moderators also have offers in the FAQ section of TE for joining under them. And this facts make TE looks worse to me.
While this can make TE seems unique (weird to be honest), on the other hand it is very tricky from the point of view of a marketer like me. As a marketer, I used to promote the products I sell everywhere. The promotions often cost hundreds of bucks monthly. I don't mind spending that much money because I know at the end I will earn more than that.... in a fair situation competition.
But with TE, I don't see any advantage for me if I promote it. Because, when people visit TE because of my promotions, before they sign-up, they will surely look around the TE site, especially the FAQ section. That's normal, nobody with normal business sense will throw away their hard earned money without doing at least a little due diligence. And when they read the FAQ (remember: FAQ = TG), they will immediately see those offers from those prominent persons in TG/TE. No wonder they will choose one of them that they think can guarantee their investments better, even if there are other offers from "outer cycle" which can give better benefits. Why? Because it is the moderators/inner-circles who give the offers. People will feel safer if they take the offers from the inner-circle.
Do you know what will happen to me when that happens? It means, my spends for advertising will virtually useless. My promotions on TE will only benefit those prominent people in TG/TE, NOT me. They won't have to spend a dime for promotions but will surely get lots and lots of leads because of my promotions.
Offering such offers are not wrong. It is alright, I do that all the time. But in TE it is simply not fair as the offers are there in the FAQ section ALIAS TG forum which is the very heart of TE. If TG forum has nothing to do at all with TE, it's alright. But TG forum is the heart of TE. And the offers made by those who have prominent positions in TG. I don't know if you all have planned it carefully before to reap as much money as you can to your own pocket or you all are just plainly unaware of the negative impacts to the TE members outside the inner circle of TG/TE.
And one more thing: do you know why if a company like Coca Cola runs, for example, a prized promotion where the consumer who wins get a car, in the promotion leaflets there are always a note that says something like this: "This prized promotion is eligible to public except the employees of Coca Cola and all its affiliates" ?
What I mean by this long post is: it is unethical for TG prominent persons to put their offers at the FAQ section of TE. Of course everybody wants to make money, even those prominent TG mods. But, why don't do that outside TG instead? Promote your reflinks and offers out there, don't just sitting here in TG waiting for the results of other lessed informed member's promotions. It's simply a rip-off, don't you know that?
Sorry if what I wrote here offense you. But I could not help write it here because I hate seeing people being scammed over and over again! Maybe you have no intention to rip people off, but the results will be the same: a rip-off on unsuspecting people!
Re: "Sabotage" from TalkGold to TeamEarners Members
lol first of all evryone use any method to advertise man , if t1m wanna offer free membership for peoples is hes choise ... if you wanna offer one hot-dog for your members do it . BUT how the heck can you call this '' sabotage '' ?
Re: "Sabotage" from TalkGold to TeamEarners Members
What gotpaid wrote is not far from the truth. Although I am a member of TalkGold for quite some time, I hardly come here lately. I know about TeamEarners from a banner somewhere on the net, clicked that and then read the the info available at the website. I never remembered who that unlucky advertiser was
But when I came to this section, I found the attractive offers from the mods here, in their signatures. It happened that I chose the offer from firm because I don't think I am good at referring. I thought that way I will get my $13 back more easily than having to recruit 13 people myself. So, I guess the man who advertises TeamEarners which banner I clicked lost me as his referral. Pity him!
Now I am thinking about myself. If this is how it will be going with TeamEarners, then there is no way I will get my $13 back unless I am lucky to win some cash prizes. Oh no, I am not a fan of gambling games so I guess I will ask my refund before my trial period ends or else that $13 will only be numbers on my computer monitor
In short, yes, gotpaid is right about TeamEarners! I think must thank him for preventing me from losing another $13 here

Re: "Sabotage" from TalkGold to TeamEarners Members
Everyone is free to approach the market with whatever offer he or she sees fit, it's simply the way things work, but I do have to thank you for giving my offer even more exposure

Actually, only active referrals can take advantage of my offer
Why? Because the TeamEarners accounts of my referrals will be credited with $13, not their paypal or LR accounts. And, since only people who refer others can reach the $25 earnings level (aside from the $13 I send, they need to earn another $12 in order to be able to cash out), a person who simply signs up and doesn't refer others will not be able to withdraw.

Aha. I admit, I didn't read your offer. It makes sense now.
Actually my offer is better than yours. Only 3 refs needed for a free ride.
Re: "Sabotage" from TalkGold to TeamEarners Members
I completely agree with Gotpaid. Why would somebody click a banner, read the FAQ (TG forums), see f1rm's, or even me222's, and still sign up with the no incentive offer? Why should I spend money advertising if I am not even the one who is going to be benefiting? That is the reason I stopped promoting my lead capture page. I contacted a couple users as a follow up just to find out they joined under an offer they found here.
I agree that members should be able to promote their products using cash back offers and what not, UNLESS it is taking money from people advertising their links. I think signatures should be removed in the TE section and there should be no incentivised offers to join TE in the TE section.
