This site is mostly about investing or how to proft on the internet but i have not seen a direct real estate thread which is a very large part of the investing circles................

I'd be interested in investing in Brazilian real estate. However last September I committed to a 40 acre spread in Mendoza Province, Argentina. I heard immigration to Brazil is a pain in the butt.

Argentina is a great place to buy property but you need to know about all the ins and outs of the Argentine market and understand how Argentines think. It's not possible for foreigners to buy along the border and buying in Patagonia area has been tricky. If the economy keeps going the way it is, then it may be ripe for investors again in the near future, but right now real estate is overpriced.
