I want to start website to sell e-books online

I want to start my own website to sell e-books online. During last couple of years I have bought many e-books and there are plenty of free resale able e-books online. I am sure there is a great scope to make money through selling these e-books. So I want to start my own website and start selling e-books. Some main features will

Accepting credit cards, Paypal, MoneyBookers
Affiliate marketing and tracking system

Please help me how to find good payment processor who can give me credit card and paypal merchant service.

I am also looking for good marketing system, where people care register and sell my e-books and they can also monitor their traffic and sales. I have plan to pay marketers twice a month, if they have low earnings then to interested people I will pay them via Paypal and Liberty Reserve.

So I am looking for complete sales/affiliate marketing system with online payment option. Please give me your feedback as I want to do this as soon as possible because this is already much delayed. I want to start a honest money making opportunity that I can forward to my friends who can make money online by just selling e-books.

If you are looking at making something like a store, to display all your ebooks in one shop you could set up something like osCommerce. It has plug ins for paypal, 2checkout etc., I haven't ever used it but I think there are a few affiliate plug ins for it.

Or if you are looking to sell each ebook individually there is always something like clickbank. Sign up as a publisher and they do all the affiliate payouts and processing for you.

Not sure if either of those is what you are looking for, but its a few options.

Looks like it is. And as far as accepting credit cards, paypal will also do it for you, but 2checkout is one I have used just for credit cards before.

I wish you all the best with your efforts but I hope you won't limit yourself to ebooks that can be found free as you will have a tough time making a lot of sales. Of course, if you can find some good niche topics outside of the internet marketing/make money online arena, you might do better.

I am really looking for other money making opportunities. I don't wish to limit my efforts for e-books only. If you have any other working opportunities, please share with me.

I am preparing to launch a site with all of those things incorporated into the code. It is not selling Ebooks, but I can see how you could utilize the same code for your use.

I had good luck and no problems with 2CheckOut, its a $50 setup and they do have there own processing fees, its been awhile since I used them, but they are one of the most popular choices besides paypal or a merchant account for accepting credit cards.

And I think with osCommerce or Cubecart you can pretty much have all of what you are looking for, I'm sure oscommerce has affiliate software or you could find affiliate plug ins for it. I have not used it so this is all just a guess. But if you are looking at a no cost to low cost I think its about your best bet. Cubecart looks like its pretty much the same thing. Otherwise you could look at getting something custom developed, but then you are talking a lot of time and money.

1shoppingcart.com is a good choice. Affiliate program and you can integrate it with amember membership management software. You can use paypal or to checkout with it, but its best to apply for a merchant account with them for an additional fee of $99. All the big name ebook sellers that don't use clickbank use 1shoppingcart.com or authors tired and frustrated with clickbanks dam refund policy.
