We are in need of a corporate bank account with IBAN and SWIFT for licensed online pharmacy business. Many years in business already and having 2 years processing history with ZERO chargebacks. If anybody knows of a EU bank which can be opened by mail, please let me know. We can provide all required documents. We are thinking about Rietumu banka and eventually FBME bank, but FBME bank charges 10 USD for incoming wires. Are their any alternatives? Thanks for sharing.

I suggest you bank in the country of your license which I assume is India or similar countries.

Offshore banks generally do not want high risk businesses and Rx is certainly considered high risk if you sell controlled medication online. While it may be legal in the country where you have your license I can tell you it is not legal in most locations where it requires a doctors perscription such as the US, Canada and Europe.

Some have tried to get around this by registering general trading companies and opening bank accounts but that is also risky.

FBME will not accept any type of Pharmacy business even not if it has a valid license.

The fee of USD 10 isn't expansive you will see that you will have to face much higher fees once you find a bank who will accept your business as it is. As offshore privacy already mentioned, you should look for a bank in the region where your license is valid, it will go to be very difficult to find any bank who will accept it elsewhere.

Also I assume it is a bank account you need, they will not care about processing history since it is a seperated business in most banks. If you are looking for a bank which will both offer you a business bank account and a merchant account it is going to be very difficult, simply because most banks don't accept this business!

We are licensed in Singapore and India. However we need an EU bank account. We definitely do NOT sell controlled meds. NEVER. Any advice?

If you wish to bank in the EU you will be required to obtain a EU pharmaceutical license I am afraid or no bank will touch you.

Where can I get an online pharmacy license? We sell health supplements but alot of people ive contacted say we will be classified as an online pharmacy. Any Ideas?

Some EU country are more flexible licensing. But all authorities require a degree in pharmacy. The best way to begin is to partner with a European graduate imho.
