I was wondering if you can advice me on the best bank to deal with for my Panamanian registered company, it doesnt have to be in panama or it might be it doesnt really matter, what matters for me would be the timely manner of the in and out going transfers and the stability of such bank.

my company mainly deals with currency exchange and real estate and financial consultation. i am already dealing with two banks and im constantly looking for a better service and more reliable banks.

you advice or help is highly appreciated on this matter.

We're in the same situation as you.


We have been using Cyprus Intec (Mondial private bank) until recently and they've worked OK, but now the whole staff has gone under ground. So I can't recommended them as a reliable bank unfortunately.

If Panama corporation is less than 6 months old or if it is more than 6 months old and you have or can get a certificate of good standing, apostilled English set of the corporation documents, Apostilled passport and proof of address you can try www.rietumu.com in Latvia. If you are not concerned with privacy and you can get a reference letter you can look at Loyal Bank in St. Vincent's.

There might be other options but it depends on what country you are from.

I am curious though, why did the Panama formation agent not provide banking for your corporation -- many of the best offshore firms provide offshore banking with the corporation as a corporation alone is not worth much?

thank you for your reply, to answer your question they did provide me with a banking solution which is Yesilada Bank Ltd. but i dont feel they have been providing a good service for the many issues you already know. hence i am looking for another alternative.

So how are you managing you financial needs now? any other solution that you might recommend or think of? personally i have been using Yesilada Bank until recently they are facing major problems with their corresponding bank and all assets are frozen.

This offshore banking problem is becoming most taxing to our business.

Could you advice on a bank account opening agent or company to assist me in doing so? i think if that company or agent was in panama things would be great since he or she will be able to pull out any needed documents regarding the registration much easier. and regarding Rietumu Bank, i am already negotiating with them since almost one week the account opening possibility and i am still waiting for a reply from them.
