Voting Shares
These are simply shares of stock that allow the stock holders to vote on corporate matters. Afterall the stockholders are partial owners of the company, so certain members that hold these "voting shares" are allowed to have a say in managements, etc of the company in which they have ownership in. A good amount of shares are considered "voting shares" but not all of them are.
