You are right about the DD part. Just what would you have done? I did as much DD as I felt I could and came up with nothing negative. I think that's why it's called a scam. By the way, if you had done your DD you would have known that the address you quoted for Fritz Maxwell is incorrect. The snake actually lives under a rock in Virginia. The toll free number is correct though.
