I think you could use a couple of logic pills.... If somebody creates an HYIP and claims it is from one of us, we specifically disclaim all and any affiliation with those programs...
If there is a nolosshyip created tomorrow, and you say it is not yours, then it probably is true, because otherwise you would use some other aliases, or would say that you finally saw the light at the tip of a pyramid
Re: Be WARNED - Fake admin/mods usernames to start scam programs
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the intent of this thread simply to de-fuse any additional attempts by the PI Admin to set up fake programs using the IDs of other people like he did with Pluggy?
I'm not sure why all the finger pointing and accusations have started, but I never took this thread to be any kind of declaration of purity or anything like that.
It is what it is.....a warning about an idiot playing malicious games by impersonating others and nothing more or less than that.

Yes, you`re right. It took a diversionary route somehow. Let`s keep this thread on topic as a simple warning to all members to be aware of fake IDs.

....and I think you could use a couple of pills to help you with your comprehension. I did not say anything about TG mods creating programmes using their own names. In fact, I specifically said:
"A TG mod has the added advantage of being able to cosset his own programme ( the programme would, of course, not be in his name nor would he have any visible connection to it)."

So your trying to take the topic somewhere else are you ??
Re: Be WARNED - Fake admin/mods usernames to start scam programs
Can I add something here since this has to do about Impersonations and all that? Well, we need to keep alert that these things does not really have to do with just mods and admin of this forum as well since the scammers who do these things will also go after members who have been here a long time, with a lot of posts, well respected members or someone who could be controversial somewhat? Lets say this can happen. Someone could open up a HYIP using my id on here, and claim it is me. I do not believe in there things, and would never ever run one or join one. Brian knows that I would not get myself involved in this. The warnings should go out to let people not to trust someone who contacts you outside of this forum claiming to be a mod, an admin or another member of this forum. It would be considered to be someone to be impersonating somebody else. It includes the programs that Geoff mentioned. That includes doing money exchanges and all that as well. One of the members already been a victim of impersonation today, and that is Okosh. And the person who believed it was Okosh, lost money believing it was him. Do not trust anybody off this forum claiming to be somebody who they are not. Stay safe, and be wise on who is contacting you off this forum.
