Dear taxoma, perhaps you will to wait a little longer.
I am already trading with Liteforex and what I like most is the fact that you offer cent accounts. This lets me test EAs or new methods under real market conditions - but with minimal risk. In my opinion, this makes much more sense than demotrading.
But now I have a question regarding ECN. On your website you claim to be an ECN non-dealng desk broker. Someone from this forum mentioned, that this is not true.
Why is it, that you don\'t allow orders of duration less than 2 minutes - or at least you have the right to cancel such orders afterwards - and how can you give fixed spreads, when you claim to be ECN?
Yes, the company offers specific currency indices despite major and minor currency pairs. These are agregate indicators of basic currency value against major basket of world's leading currencies. Such indices provide insight into the weight of one particular currency in the whole Forex market.
Nowadays LiteForex company offers 8 indices (LFX)

My contention is, if someone makes 1000 pips a year then he is clearly a better trader than someone who makes 500 pips. I am not interested in lot size or volume here. I\'m interested in pips. It\'s the person that made the right choice trading at the same lot size and volume as another. Exiting at different fractional lots if you wish by splitting - not a problem. I usually do that.
Pips are what counts. It\'s your profit. And that depends on broker
I like the idea of being able to go down to an office to open my account and hand them a cashier's check.
I am still in the learning curve and trying to a handle on how it all works. For now, I have an account with one of the broker. Now that I understand the fees, I can make it more accurate.
Last week was the second week when dollar ended up between 1.4965 and 1.4860. The US currency wasn’t able to make further upturn as last week economic data on US economy made investors avoid risks. This week is going to be another mystery: this Tuesday the US government is going to release new updated GPD data. According to some forecasts, these figures will be lowered by 0.4% and will make up to 3.1% against former 3.5%. If these forecasts turn out to be truth, we would be able to see some changes on Forex.
