The legal stuff is on its way... need a month or two and a couple tickets to Costa Rica, but otherwise its just a formality & a big waste of money. But we'll sort it in due course all the same.

ps. The point is that ASIC won't say a thing at all for a long time yet. I don't see them being a stumbling block in ANY TG discussions. Aside from a few scams requiring a scapegoat of course.
We will have the legal stuff in place both ASAP, as its the only way we can definitively prove anything to you all, and also as of when its required. (Ie. When we start promoting FOR4TUNE through the conventional [tv] channels).
pps. I was just reading a bunch of investment definitions. And do you have any idea what we would even classify FOR4TUNE as?
We're not a hedge fund; as we're not limited to 100 investors per fund. We're not a mutual fund, as we're not a public company traded on a stock exchange where by you purchase a share of it. So what are we?
What was madoff classed as? As his company had a way around everything through a single definition.
What would be a useful classification for us to pursue do you think? I was under the assumption we were a hedge fund, but apparently not!
As all we want to do; is link people looking to make money, with people who can make them that money, using their money!
What is the legal jargon for doing that?

You already promoting 44tune through conventional chanells in todays world...You using the reach of the world wide web which is plenty for the Feds both here and in Canada to act on....

unregulated multi-level investment structures - thats one definition of madoffs structure. But that doesn't really provide any answers. As it seems it's whole purpose is to be confusing to prevent anyone figuring it all out and busting them!
This is going to be a big headache in a couple months time!
Trying to figure out what we are / should be. And then making the necessary arrangements + adjustments to make this all correct in the eyes of the law. Not looking forward to that.
Why can't you just do something honest? Give me your money and i'll use it to try and make more (within the defined levels of risk). Easy!

Registered or otherwise doesn't define us as a ponzi scheme in any way. Not at all.
We do not use, or require, new money to pay old. We have methods and fixed-risk strategies, that put our deposited funds to work, to generate their own returns on investment.
That is investing; just be it in an unregulated format (temporarily).
I've decided however that these will be my last comments regarding our legal situation until we have sought the appropriate legal council and are appropriately registered as required.
As frankly. I don't know what the deal is there. I'm just making educated guesses. I've tried researching the subject but the laws are purposely ambigious it seems. I am positive what we are doing is not illegal with its intent; as we are not committing any deceptive practices, any fraud or operating any sort of ponzi scheme. We may require some government oversight or something but aside from that. FOR4TUNE is straight down the line with its action and intent of linking investment with professionals to make a lot of money.
