Colorado-Francis +106 at St Louis-Suppan, 5 INNING LINE
Chicago Cubs-Marmol +141 over Detroit-Verlander, 5 INNING LINE
Kansas City-Keppel +178 at Houston-Bucholz, 5 INNING LINE
Cleveland / Miwaukee Under 10 -110

If we can hit 2 of 3 with the dogs we make a nice profit. That +178 Royals line is super juicey..
All three dogs have a distinct advantage with the starters but no way do we want the bullpens getting involved. Francis is probably easy to accept, but the other two deserve a little explanation, so:
Marmol performed as well as we could expect last Sunday as a +165 dog at Cincinnati and the guy has earned another shot. Verlander is slightly off form and vulnerable. The Cubs occasionally hit the ball versus right handers and should be inspired after getting whipped yesterday.
The Royals also hit the ball occasionally and got tuned up nicely last night. Heaven knows they "owe" Bobby Keppel more than a decent effort as he has been respectable but needs some support. We won with him on the Run Line earlier this week and move back to him today. There are a couple other things to remember about the Royals, no matter how bad they are or how many games they lose. None of these guys got to the major league level because daddy owned the company. They have played hard since they were 7, 8, maybe 9 years hold in a system that feeds on attrition and survival of the fittest is the rule. In the case of pro versus college teams it is a far narrower gap from top to bottom than we sometimes remember. "On any given day, any one team can beat any other team" was written about college football, but is so much more relevant to pro sports. Maybe ownership of the Royals should be roundly criticized, and I think Ewing Kaufmann is probably spinning in his grave, but the players want to survive the season and the system and will give what they can muster up "on any given day."
For the under that line should be 8.5 with the quality of pitchers so well take the high number.
