Winky Wright was convinced he had the fight won and stormed out of the ring after the draw was announced. Would have been nice to win but even with Winky doing his victory dance Taylor still retains his Belt because there is no way he loses a close match. -135 means that to win 100usd you'd have to bet 135.00. If you bet 100 you would win 65 thus the -35 in 135. The -135 is telling you that Taylor was the favorite.
As with any betting when you bet a +# you are betting the underdog(ex.+185) where you get more on your return. If you bet 100.00, your return would be 185.00. And likewise if you bet a -#(ex -185) your betting the favorite and will need to bet 185.00 just to win 100.00.

IWIN I don't follow you here on the negative odds, if you bet 100 to win 65 by taking away 35 from 100 to get your payout then by your same logic betting 100 on the -185 game would only net you 15 dollars.

The correct way to calculate american negative odds is by this formula.

Stake x (100/US odds)

So if you bet $100 on the -135 it would read:

$100 x (100/135) = $74

The correct winnings is $74 not $65.
