These clubs played UNDER for the third time in the first four games of this series on Thursday, combining to score just 172 points. This makes the UNDER a wallet bulging 9-1 in the last 10 Miami playoff games with an average combined total score in those contests of just 176.7 points, about 11 points less than this posted total!
Also the UNDER is 5-1 in all the head-to-head meetings between these teams this year including the regular season with an average total score of 182.7, still safely below this total. Finally the Mavericks will be without their top scoring option off the bench in Jerry Stackhouse, which should reduce the total point output of this contest even further.
