Even tho the season has not begun,

whats everyones opinion on the06-07 NHL season, could carolina take it again?

I would have to say no. The hunger will not be the same to take the cup two years in a row. They do not have a star like Gretsky was for the oilers that everyone knew that he could get them to the top.

Just my opinion. I will have to choose Montreal or Calgary to take it this year.
Calgary already has the goal tending, defence and they just acquired Tanguay to pick up the scoring they were lacking. One more scoreing forward and I think they will have the right mix.

Montreal has the goal tending but needs a little more defece and another guy who can put the puck in the net.

As for Toronto not sure why you would pick them.
