Pennsylvania’s two big-league teams hook up for the first time
this season in Philadelphia. The Pirates (http://www.wagerweb.com/sports-betting/mlb-players/teams/pittsburgh-pirates.cfm) won two of three in April in
Pittsburgh, but the Phillies (http://www.wagerweb.com/sports-betting/mlb-players/teams/philadelphia-phillies.cfm) won two of three in Philly last year in their
only meeting. It’s too bad these former rivals are in different divisions
now and only play a handful of games every year. The Phillies have been up
and down at home. They had losing records (1-5, 3-4) their first two
homestands in April but have been then went 11-6 before going only 2-7 on
a big homestand against the Mets, Devil Rays and Yankees to fall way
behind the Mets in the National League Central.
