Anyone knows why Trezege is not playing?

I see all the news, the newspapers and what's not - everyone is focused on the game today

But one thing isn't clear to me - why David Trezege of France isn't playing?

He didn't play much through all the tournament. France's Coach was playing with only one Striker (Henry), so ther was no place for David with this formation.

He ended up missing his penalty kick, so maybe he shouldn't had played at all.
