I looked at the bettorsedge.net website but they only have up to Wednesday on how they did for last week. It looks as though they lost money 3 days in a row! Anyone know how they did the rest of the week and if they recovered? I was interested in joining up with them if they're doing well. Stacy :)

jdyson If you are still using Bettorsedge.net picks, it would be great if you can post more recent past performance here.

Any other good handicappers lately?

They did pretty well at the beginning of the week but got slammed badly on Sat. and lost a little with the juice on Sun. ( broke even ) Once again they finished up ever so slightly for the week Mon-Sun. I guess that's all you can ask for. But by the time you finish paying for the picks you're probably at a loss of money. I haven't seen anything too terrific yet! :P Stacy

22 wins- 19 loss for Mon-Sun
Pay for picks and what do you have?

Stacy69,

You have asked a very good question.
Why should anybody have to pay for crummy
picks in advance?
You do know what these people do, don't you?

If not, I will tell you what they do.
For example, they will give half the people
one team in a particular match-up and they will
give the other half of their paying customers
the other team!!!
Half the people win, Half the people lose.
Half their customers are happy, the other half is not.
They are hoping that their happy customers will
do enough bragging on the sports picks that are winning
so other people will be tempted to pay for their picks as well!!
Do you see now how they work?
It's not a very honest way to do business, is it?
Another thing, the BEST professional sports bettors that I
know will only win 60% of their plays over the long haul.

There are pay AFTER you win Professional Sports Services
out there. Here's how they work:

1. You would send them an email letting them know you were
interested in their sports selections. You would also tell
them how you were going to pay for selections.(Return email
addresses must be through a service provider's
postoffice, ie. no emails using mailexcite, hotmail, or
yahoo, etc.)
2. The next day you would receive that days selection.
3. If you win, you would have til noon the next day to
pay a small fee of $20 for the selection.
4. If you lose, you owe NOTHING AND your next selection
would be FREE until it won then you would owe the small
fee of $20 for the selection.
5. Each day you would be notified of their play for
that day by 4:00 CT. Sometimes there is no play.
6. If you don't pay AFTER you win, your account is cancelled.
This is how it works.

Do you see why it is not a good Idea to pay
for your selections in advance?

Hope this helps

Good luck to you

 You guys crack me up. You just watch and wait for something little to jump on. They've done really well overall. They break even or lose a couple and you jump all over it. What a joke. They're actually really cool guys. If you're only up a couple they'll just call it even since you basicly broke even with juice and everything. Has anyone here besides me delt with them? I'm just curious because if you did you'd realize that they're not just a run of the mill service. They actually care and go out of their way to make sure everyone benifits. No just trying to get everyone's money...

....which brings me to my next point--WISEGUY--you're absolutely right about everything you've said. God know I've delt with enough of those over the years. But please tell me you're not referring to bettors edge (if you're not, please disregard the following). If so, I would have to tell you to educate yourself on a topic before you make a remark about it. I know about 15 people using them, we all get the same games. Also, with so many games a day, it would simply be immpossible to give everyone different games and still have the same record for everyone (they post their record on their site in case you fogot). Also, you DON'T pay until you've won. As a matter of fact, you get games for a week before you even pay.

I think I'll stick to actual sports betting forums. With these types of forums, you people just watch, do nothing but watch and try to nit pick at every little thing. I can't tell if this forums is to share money making opportunities or to just nit pick at every dumb azz little thing. Really, they can be up 12 or so games one week, then if they're down a couple the next, 'oh no....they're no good' Have you nothing better to do? If you use them and don't think they're any good, fine (I'd definitely like to see YOUR good service though---seriously). Other than that, you guys gotta come up with something better than this.

Thanks for the laughs people.....I'm out B)

gold_reaper: PM me if you're serious.

OMG!! I LOVE IT!!!

If people would only pay attention, they would realize what idiots they would of been, instead of idiots that they are for not paying attention...

Really though... I don't have anything else to say. I think jdyson said it all. And he's right.

Stacy69: You asked some very good questions, and that make sense. That's the reason why I didn't like their other programs not because of paying afterwards, but you were paying for each win, so if you went 2-2. you would be paying those 2 wins so you would have even lost more money on top of breaking even not including the juice.

They now have it that in that case, you wouldn't pay anyting because the difference is 0. Your even for the week. So you lost nothing, and paid for nothing.

They have a good operation going on over there. I don't do their picks because I was already paying over $500 a month for picks. Now that I'm not, I might go back to them.

Wiseguy: If you would have gone out to bettorsedge's website you wouldn't have made such a long post for nothing, so for you, refer to the bold print in thhis msg.

Oh well, I'm not perfect either, otherwise I would be like 144-0 this season in NFL and retiring from my job.

Let me be the first to say that we got hammered this weekend <_< Let's see how they bounce back

I've got something that's actually been making me a lot of money but I'm giving it a bit more time before I mention it. I'll throw it up here (maybe in a week or so) if anyone wants.

BenScott

Yea. They were really getting hammered for a bit there. I guess they have another guy helping them out with the business aspect so they have more free time to cap the games better. I guess they just didn't have enough time before. So far it's been working :D

John

Djam
12-14-2004, 06:27 AM
According to Michael and the website, they actually don't cap the games themselves. They use more of a consensus between 30 or more handicappers to determine their play of the day.

Michael had also said in an email about a week ago that their record is like 37-13 or something like that in their last 50 picks.

Is this not true then??

Apparently since they are doing the consensus of the 30+ handicappers, their picks are winning more often and their percentage is around 70% now.

What are your thoughts on this?
