Eagles Vs. Steelers

In my opinion this will not only be a battle between two Pennsyvanian teams, but it will be a battle between the 2 best teams in the NFL.

Should be interesting to see what the line will be in this game. Will the Eagles be underdogs for the first time this season?

Brian- I beg to differ with you. Just because the Steelers beat the Pats today does not necessarily mean they are the better team. This will be proven in January when the 2 teams meet again for the AFC Championship.

ok my 2 cents. count them 1....2

1. I am from PA and I feel this to be a great game and I'll agree these are probably the best teams in the NFL. Could be a possibe rematch in the Super Bowl.

2. True that just because the Pats lost today to the steelers doesn't mean they aren't the best, but from what I saw and heard today. 80% believed today would be the day that the Pats would go down. This would make me believe that some of them would believe that the steelers could possibly be the best in the AFC.

If the Eagles don't do something about their poor run defense they will lose this game. No doubt about it. They allowed 113 yards against the Ravens, 165 against the Browns, 158 against the Panthers. 436 rushing yards, or an average of 145 in the last 3 games against "questionable" teams. Staley and Bettis are better running backs and don't think Staley doesn't have an axe to grind.

This will only be a good game if the Eagles can limit the rushing yards. If they can't be prepared for 7-1. Owens or no Owens.
