My picks this week....

Take the NY Jets (-3) over the Buffalo Bills. Bledsoe sucks, bottom line. He stays in the pocket too long, doesn't scramble and his offensive line can't protect him. The Jets should beat them by a double digit margin.

Take the Kansas City Chiefs (-3) over the Tampa Bay Bucs. The last two weeks the Chiefs have put it together. They destroyed Atlanta and beat a good team in Indy. Watch out for this team the rest of the year. (FYI - I'd take the Chiefs in this game if they were -7)

Good luck and bet at your own risk. These picks are for entertainment purposes only.

=============================================

Two games to stay away from this week.

Pittsburgh/Philadelphia - No team in NFL history has ever beat undefeated teams with a 6-0 record or better in consecutive weekends. The Steelers have a chance to do it this weekend. Philly is a 1 point favorite. If you have a TV this is a must watch. :D

New England/St. Louis - This one could go either way in my opinion. The Rams are either awesome or they suck. They are coming off a bye week and a pretty embarrassing loss. They are also 4-0 after a bye week. New England's secondary is somewhat weakened without Ty Law. Bulger will look to capitalize on this. Pats are a 2 point favorite.

hey guys,

nice to see people posting their picks. I must of missed this topic when it was first started and not sure how.

hetfieldfreak: I would have agree with you on those picks that they would be good picks, and they both lost.

gold-dott: Hey buddy... nice to see ya again. I'm not sure how your sat games went, but hopefully better then your sunday did. I don't remember the panthers score, but the other 2 were lost.

Tell you what guys, this was a bad day in football all together, I only bet on 2 games. Steelers (won) and 49ers/Seattle game. Did a teaser on that to get niners at +14 and under 47.5. Needless to say that the niners lost by 15 and seattle almost got the o/u by themselves. So I went 1-1 for the day.

Needless to say for my Pro pick'em picks in yahoo sports, I did absolutely HORRIBLE. I think i got 3 games right all day. Underdogs took the day in just about every game.

anyways, it was a bad day overall.

You're right there thumpinbass, it was a bad day overall.

I only made bets on Chiefs -3 and NY Jets -3 yesterday, so I went 0-2 for the day ($100 loss, still making small bets here  )

Over 58.5 Colts
Colts -6
This is what I am looking at for today, most likely small bets again. Let me know what you think.

Moss isn't playing. I don't think that Minnesota will score that many points. Maybe the Colts will make up for it though. I don't think taking the Colts and giving up the points is a bad choice. Then again I went 0-2 on Sunday so what do I know. :D

well gold-dott, you would of went 1-1 for the night and broke even if you did those picks. It was a good game. I was afriad to play any of those bets. My over/under would have been 58 if I would have done it. I thought it was high, but I've seen the colts get close to that before, so it all depended on the Vikings to make up the difference.

Would you know that they covered the o/u by a 1, with 59. Talk about cutting it close. Shame colts won by only 3 though.

My handicapper has been sick the past couple days, so I've done plays since thursday. Hoping to get back into the swing of things real soon.

I like Northern Illinois -6.5 tonight.

In the NBA, the Rockets seem like a good choice. The line doesn't make sense here with the Rockets at home as a 1.5 point underdog to the Grizzlies.

Edit: My mistake, the line is now Memphis +5, which makes more sense. Still like the Rockets to cover.
