OK people, here's the deal. I wanna see what you guys think...

I am now getting picks from a sports handicapper. Placing the bets on my own. He has 'Top Plays' and 'Reg Plays'.

Top plays you bet double, reg plays you bet normal.

Now, do you follow his advice and go with that, or do you wager the same for all plays no matter whether it is a top play or reg play.

Now I know it is all just preference on what you want to do, but I am just asking for suggestions on what I should do, or what you do, or what you would do.

Keep in mind that I don't pay for performance. I paid 1 fee for the whole year.

So What's on your mind?

What's on my mind about this?

Well, for a while do what they ask, and if you see a difference between 'Top Plays' and 'Reg Plays', follow their suggestions.

Otherwise bet the same amount.

As long as they get around 56% - 60% winners you should be fine :-)

IMO If you were willing to pay an annual fee then you should follow their advice. You want to make good money or just have fun. Go with it.

Also - Do you want to share these with your TG friends?

My brother-in-law is a professional gambler in las vegas
and I asked him this question this morning and he told me
that he bets the same amount on every game.
He said the score before any game starts is 0-0 and that
nobody knows whether the game is a top play or a regular play.

hope this helps

Gook luck to you

How much did you pay for a yearly fee, and if you can and want to, PM me the website.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Lets put it this way, I think I just lost $300 that I paid for this guys picks. Check out his website. www.fasteddiesports.com Click on 'Recap' on the left hand side.

At this point in time, I would suggest that you stay away from this guy. He is HORRIBLE! or maybe just a bad week? I don't know. If I would have followed this guys advice for this past week, I would have lost about $3800. and that's wagering $100 for reg plays and $200 for top plays.

Maybe he had a bad week, I don't know. I still get his picks everyday, but I found another handicapper that gives free picks if you sign up under certain sportsbooks that he recommends.

The package I took was if I signed up for www.bodog.com sportsbook under his refferal and deposited $1000 into my account. I get a month of his picks for free. Can't hurt to try. I mean, i get a month of free picks and just have another account with another sportsbook which isn't that bad.

This handicapper is called the locksmith. www.locksmithsportspicks.com I found him off of the nationalsportsmonitor.com. All of his picks are tracked on that website so you know how well he is doing in past picks. He is doing alright so far. His plays are 3*, 4* and 5*. 5* being the best. He is 7-6 going into tonight (mon) and so far tonight he's 3-0 with one game still going, (but losing) so if he goes 3-1 for tonight, that's 10-7 for the past 4 days.

Going by his star system, I will be up about $2000 over the past 4 days. I can handle that.

Well i hate writing long posts, and this happens to be one of them. so...later.

Starting with $1000 balance?

My bad, I meant to say that my balance is now at $2000, not that I profit $2000. sorry

technically, I started with $1200, so a profit of $800 thru the first 4 days I have been using his picks. He had 5 picks tonight 2-2-1. Lost $30.

So that puts him at 12-9-1 over 5 days. Probably about avg for a handicapper, but up a lot in $$$ because of winning his 4* and 5* picks and losing his 3* picks sometime.
