Northwestern has huge problems scoring points, they scored only 46 points in their first 3 games this season against HORRIBLE opponents. We are looking at Nevada which is a legitimate team, they should cover this spread with ease.
Also remember somtheing that a lot of people overlook, Reno is akin to mile high stadium where opposing teams get WINDED by the FOURTH QUARTER. NW is definitely travelling to an inhospitible environment. The air is thin and the gaming and nightlife is plentiful (so they can get plenty distracted by being drunk and laid with little oxygen).
No way NW covers tonite. Take Nevada -7.

First time I'm following one of your picks- I've taken -6.5 on betfair @ 1.8. Hope it all works well, and I'm in profit for when I wake :-) (I'm in the UK.)

I love it when a plan comes together, anyone who watched the game might think that Nevada got a lucky cover with the pick at the end of the 4th quarter but it was all part of the plan.
I said that visitiing teams have issues playing into the 4th quarter because of the thin air in Reno and on queue there was Kafka in the 4th on his belly like a beached whale getting treatment for cramps by three trainers. Even the ESPN announcers mentioned that the heights were catching up with him and he was cramping up.
We all know low blood carbon dioxide concentrates that lead to the muscle cramps happen in these types of stadiums. The haggard Kafka threw that easy pick not because of incompetance but because his body felt like it was under water...
