But have a little group trying to put money together on football and basketball parlays and some sites have mininum and was thinking would it be better to get a four way split on minimum parlay bet to conserve individual cash flow and or should I just go it alone? 3 team parlays pay about 6 to 1.

If you have a lot of money and want to win big, why not just split them up evenly and bet them big straight up?

I think pinnacle have a $30k USD max bet..

Parlays i believe max is $1k USD..

Starting off low a couple hundred dollars but like the exponential growth of parlaying.

lol, sorry, i misunderstood, well, parlay minimum on pinnacle is $1 USD and max is actually $2k USD.. so at $1, you don't need anyone to split with you..

some sites go as high as 20 or 50 depending on if done over phone or net.

If you're doing football and basketball parlays(NFL/NCAAF/NBA/NCAAB), signup with Pinnacle, byfar the best sportsbook on the net..

My family is really into parlays, and at my casino (Cal Neva), the minimum is $2 with a minimum of 3 teams. I tend to just pick 6 to 10 teams and put $5.00 down, around 420 to 1 payouts. I also hedge when need be, which I will put down 1/3 of my winnings of my other card.

For example, last week, I put $5.00 on an 8 teamer to win $1035. I had one team left (Monday night with the Seahawks giving up 10.5) so I put down just $200 (all I had left in my bank) to win $181. I lost by a half of a point on my 8 teamer =(, but won $181+$200.

I hate to work with other people on my picks. I have to do it all by myself. I spend my whole Saturday picking my teams. I think picking more teams and betting lower is the better way to go. At least from past experiences.

Do whatever you want, though.
