Yeah, I'm on the Patriots.

With the Eagles like Terrell Owens too busy with desperate housewives, I think the Patriots' track record makes them the likely winner.

And here's what he has to say about the Super Bowl XXXIX Final: Patriots vs Eagles:

THRU THE EYES OF A CRYSTAL "FOOTBALL" ...
THE ACE PREVIEWS THE "GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH."

http://www.frankrosenthal.com/modules.php?...=article&sid=44 (http://www.frankrosenthal.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=44)

...The Eagles are improved over last year, and Donavan McNabb had his best season ever. They play tough and aggressive defense, using the blitz ever so often. Their linebackers and secondary are hard hitters, and they're quick. Their top down lineman is Jevon Kearse, a ferocious Quarterback sacker. On offense, the Eagles are not quite so explosive. For the Eagles to carry the winning Trophy back to the City of Brotherly Love, McNabb, will need a "Super" day, both with his arm, and his wheels.

The Patriots are perhaps, one of the greatest teams in modern day football history. Why? They're football brilliant. Each and everyone of them. Highly disciplined, and their coaching staff, led by Bill Billichick, is a master tactician, a brainiac, and above and beyond any of his counterparts. Their defense, while lacking two top starters, remind me of attack dogs; highly trained, with an uncanny sense and ability to anticipate their opponents every move. Their quarterback, Tom Brady, is a two time Super Bowl Winner, who at times, reminds me of Super Joe Montana. Slightly better than average arm strength. Not very quick on his feet, but he'll step up in the pocket, avoiding the sack, and his accuracy is solid, if not that of a "Robin Hood." Their receivers are a bit on the short-side, but nevertheless, they are speedy, good hands people, and run their routes to near perfection. Corey Dillon, carries the mail, and he's a double tough bruiser, who can bowl you over, given a slight crease.

Bottom line : The Zebra's; they're a big factor, and unpredictable. Regardless, awfully tough to dethrone a Champion. It can, and has happened, but don't bet on it. The line: That too is difficult to break. Always has been. Always will! Good Luck!

I think the eagles have a good shot at winning the game if not atleast coming within 7 points. I think TO is healthier then most people think, and will play.

Should be a great close game in my opinion.

Have to agree with Brian here. It sounds like nobody is giving the Birds a chance.

They held the best rushing offense under 100 yards and kept Vick pressured and contained.

TO will be a factor if he's on the field, no doubt about it. An injured TO is still better than many receivers. Westbrook is able to play multi-rolls and McNabb is as good or better than any quarterback in the league.

So what do the Birds lack? Experience in the big game! They can act as cool and calm as they want but the butterflies will start at game time. Could be a shakey start but if they can keep it together for the first quarter I bet they win.

I'll be putting a small bet on the Eagles straight up and a little bit bigger bet vs. the spread.

Congratulations to the New England Patriots who won their third championship in four years with a 24-21 victory.

Commiserations to the Philadelphia Eagles who played a strong game, particularly in the first half.

So did any of you guys try any exotic props on the game or did you all make straight bets?

I put a small bet on the Eagles straight up and a bigger bet on them with the points. Ended up making out on the deal.

The first thing on the list for the Eagles next year is to practice the no huddle offense. With 6 minutes to go, down 10 points you don't eat up 4 minutes of the clock. They looked very confused in the last part of the 4th quarter. Especially their last possession. They ate up about 30 seconds on two plays from their own 6 yardline. What were they thinking?

The reason for the problems with clock management was because McNabb was sick again. He was throwing up and couldn't speak so freddie Mitchell had to yell out the plays near the end.

Atleast this is what the papers are saying
