WOM - Horse Lays and Backs

Hello to all, great forum you have here with some really interesting threads that I will be keeping an eye on, I would like to also put up my own thread which is a weight of money method that I use.
The method is very easy to follow, I will post a number of horses with the Betfair lay prices available at the time I post, these are not to be placed as bets these are just guidelines for the decision to either back them or lay them 1 minute before the official race time, if 1 minute before the off time of the race the lay price on Betfair is lower then the guideline price then it is a back bet, if the lay price is higher then the guideline it is a lay, easy!
Will post todays in about 20mins.

If 1 minute before the race is due off the lay price is the same or higher then above it is a lay bet.
If 1 minute before the race is due off the lay price is lower then the above it is a back bet.

Not the best of starts yesterday - small loss on the day. All the selections were lower lay odds then earlier so all five were back bets - 2 winners from 5.

3.50 Idarah 2.08 Lost 2nd
4.10 Petrosian 2.6 Won
5.00 Val du Ciron 1.90 Won
5.10 Three Boars 2.2 Lost 3rd
So after deducting losers and 5% commision on the two winning bets =
Total Loss 0.44 pts
