Hello!

I come across internet and found one interesting website: http://www.saliu.com/bbs/messages/649.html

Basically you must bet on 6 races a day to favorite with more than 1.375 odds. And use martingale ( I personally think that I can use total lost + 1 unit, so it will be much more safer) progressive betting. If statistic says that 33% races favorites win that this seems interesting. What you think?

Im still a beginner when it comes to betting. Usually i will place small bets on basketball and Boxing. Im interested in trying out Horce Racing though.

Using the Martingale is a very risky business. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

There have been days where no favourite has won a race, I hate to think of the stake you would have to put on race 6 to win your money back.

thx scrufula, he simply said that at least 1 win but if there are days where no favorite win that I think it's risky business :).

Hmm if we use total lost + 1 unti than I think there isn't big 6 step lose, if avarega odds are 3 then it is two or three times of your bet but if we use martingale than yes it is sure loser on 7 or 8 step lose :)

martingale system is very risky one to bet on... but you can use it on football if you can pick atleast 1 in 3 thats possible i think so... but the odds 1.37, dont go with it, 1.7 or above is good to bet on.....

The martingale system is quite risky especially if you have the sword of Damocles above you:dancedog:

I would suggest odds above 2.00. Moreover, there are courses (due to constractional reasons) in which you can find a favorite winning a race and other courses where a favorite won't win for a couple of days!
