NHL consecutive over/under system (192-15)

The system is as follows (Thanks bluebirdsbaby-TheRX):

Wait for any team to log 3 consecutive UNDER or OVER games. Any pushes in between these plays are completely removed, so "U U P U" would qualify as 3 consecutive unders. After this pattern is achieved, chase the opposite total for up to 3 games (again, PUSHES are cancelled games, and you would continue on.) Therefore, if a team goes "U U P U" to begin, you will chase the OVER in the next 3 games, ignoring pushes. If the opposite total does NOT hit within these plays, chalk it up as a loss and move on. This instance has occurred only 15 times thus far this season.

Currently, this system is 192-15 for +70.87 units

What do you think, this system wouldn't work for NBA and/or MLB?

Although I don't really embrace any progressive system, sometimes I play them more for fun, but with very small units compared to my regular, level stake betting.

I'm not saying it wouldn't work for NBA and/or MLB. I just found it to be most effective for the NHL.
