I am setting up a service myself & after seeing some of the absolute carp on here I really don't have much to compare myself to. I am not here to SPAM, only time will show this. I will give the tips out, each with a detailed explanation why they have been chosen. I do not guarantee anything & can not be responsible for any losses other than that of myself.
With some of these tipster claiming big "Inside tips", it's just such a blatant lie I don't know why they bother. I just cannot believe they have the cheek to make tips without any reason behind them. As stated previously I will not feed you BullSh!t about how I will make you rich, but if a tip loses you will beable to see that at least I put effort into finding that horse as opposed to someone just picking a name out of a hat.
All my tips are value horses (in my opinion). I have been a punter for years but have only been seriously involved for the past 2. I will try my best to answer any questions posted here. Tips will be updated well before the race so you can see our honest performance.
Thanks for your time.

I know that countless tipsters make up past results. I am not here to do that. Here was todays, the only reason I am giving this is because it was second & so in no way would I lie about a horse that didn't win. It is just an example of what you can expect (Selection in Bold):
In the 6-25 @ Fontwell, OPTION MONEY is unlikely to run after winnning yet again last night, leaving this looking very much like a race that DONALDSON could win on his return from a near 6 month layoff. Although not given much to do when winning last time, improvment is very much on the cards from this one, and under champion jockey AP McCoy, should start as favourite. However, SHORE THING also won easily last time, leaving the impression that better things may lie ahead. I would expect this one to be fully tuned up for this after that confidence booster, and should take all the beating under Paddy Brennan. Market confidence for hurdling newcomers MASLAK and in paticular SILVER BLUE should be noted, but the value surely lies in taking on DONALDSON, for whom race fitness may be an issue, with SHORE THING.

Message for 22/8/08: I would have liked to start with a winner. instead, as you saw; a close 2nd today. Yes, well these things do happen, at least he was gallant in defeat and not a dismal non-trier although my money has still gone west! I did state that DONALDSON could find this a nice opening, with McCoy going out of his way to get there for the ride, but I felt there was more value in the likely price of our selection.
Tomorrow I will be nominating BY THE EDGE (6-20) Hamilton, as the bottomless ground should be ideal for this mudlover, and a good claimer is employed to offset the 6lb penalty for winning a similar race at Beverley. KINGS COLLEGE BOY is likely to be a non-runner after appearing today, and the one challenging hardest might just be Jim Goldie`s ROTHESAY DANCER, admittedly a tough old servant, but another that may just want better ground than the forecast Hamilton bog.
On the same card, the opening race (5-50) looks to be a trappy maiden, with many chances including HAMEILDEAME, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY and MISS SCARLET. the first two are starting to look as though they have had thier chances, while MISS SCARLET was 1 1/2 lengths 2nd of 6 and the form looks hard to assess. Bryan Smart is always a trainer to tread carefully with at northern tracks, and POSITIVITY, placed in both starts to date, may be able to shed Maiden status at the third time of asking. This is a tentative selection in a competitive race and I would not recommend wading in at short odds however and if the price is too short to represent value, then a watching brief is advised.

Message for 23/8/08:
Another disheartening second today, with BY THE EDGE denied by Jim Goldies ROTHESAY DANCER. Unfortunately POSITIVITY failed to turn out. No worries though as I will be seeking compensation today with TUNGSTEN STRIKE each way in the 2-45 at Goodwood. 2nd to no less than YEATS in the Yorkshire Oaks, albeit a distant 2nd, this one looks to be in good heart. SANBUCH and BAUER, the Luca Cumani trained duo finished 1st and 2nd last time out, and both have strong claims, but this will push out the price of TUNGSTEN STRIKE & hence produce some value for a horse that should go close.
Also be aware of UBENKOR, in the 2-50 at Beverley. Slightly higher in the weights than when scoring for us all last time out at Catterick, but more than capable of following up with a generally progressive profile. There may be more to come, and the nature of the race suggests a wide open betting heat which should be priced at around 3/1 the field.

Hey man! Always good to see another tipster's point of view.
I would like to ask you what kind of results you have had in the past? Like strike rates, yield, average points profit per month, etc?
wwwBetterTipstercouk

Hi mate. No problems.
Traditionally I would say that I am not so much of a "Tipster". I don't have a betting bank as such - I just back each horse at my local coral. So far this month has been under average.
I really don't want to say any specific previous results because they cannot be used to predict future outcomes. Still I would like to achieve winners above 5 out of every 10 bets. Unfortunatley I personally don't bet levelstakes. I would estimate that my POT would also be above 50% & so average "Points" profit a month to be set at around 20.
As you can see there have been 2 very unlucky to start, but sh!t happens. Also I would definatley recommend that the EARLY PRICE is taken as opposed to SP. As I say, I am the sort that prefers to bet with cash over the counter so I suppose if you were using betfair or any other exchange you would be likely to make more.
Hope this helps with any queries you may have had. If there's anything else just let me know.

TUNGSTEN STRIKE was as game as they come when battling back to get up on the line. The poor run from BAUER yesterday had clearly failed to support the form of SANBUCH`s win last time up, and that, added to the fact that BAUER did not run, served to shorten TUNGSTEN STRIKE to 11/4. This meant as an a each way bet, it was a no go, but hopefully you all got on at the still fairly generous price available, and enjoyed a win. UBENKOR was not so successful in his follow up bid at Beverley, but Bryan Smart`s horse remains a contender from this higher mark and there should be more races to be won with him this term.
On the same subject VISTERRE goes tomorrow (3-40, Beverley) for this shrewd trainer, and bids for a hat-trick. Despite the competitive nature of this race, he cannot be left out of calculations.
Competition breeds bigger SPs and MAIMOONA should represent excellent value in the 2-45 at Goodwood. MASADA, TEMPLE OF THEBES and SUPERDUPER all have claims, as does Jeremy Noseda`s MESSIAS DA SILVA, despite needing to bounce back from a poor run last time. This should make this an attractive betting medium, and I would recommend an bet on MAIMOONA at odds that should be inflated due to the competitive nature of this race. SUPERDUPER was a length ahead of MASADA last time at Windsor, but Brian Meehans horses are now running out of their skin, and I see every chance of a reversal today, at any price bigger than 6/1 MASADA would appeal as an each way selection, but for the winner today I must return to MAIMOONA, from the Willy Haggas stable, who was successful in a better class race than this last time out.
wwwBetterTipstercouk
08-24-2008, 12:00 AM
Just an edit: MASADA shouldn`t beat MAIMOONA, even if it reverses form with SUPERDUPER, which is likely with the amazing Richard Hughes in the saddle. You will never ever see me tip a horse ridden by Richard Hughes that is a promise (lol).

Again unfortunatley the bookies seem just to be having fun with cutting the price. 2/1 now. 9/4 Betfair. There is this constant trouble with non runners & unfortunatley although each non runner makes the horses chances of winning higher, they have an effect on winning odds.

Well unfortunatley the one selection today lost. Really enfuriated me, not because it lost as such. Because the race was inundated with Non-Runners & hence pushed the price down to 6/4. On top of this the horse didn't even place! Arrghh! One of these things I suppose. Please understand in the meantime that even though there are losers in this game as least you can see that I am putting effort into selections. There is a huge amount of research & personal experience in each tip & so when there are losers, at least it is visible that you are still getting your moneys worth. I was hoping that Maimoona would be at around 3/1, which it would of if it were not for the absolute avalanche of 5 non runners. Still, gambling is gambling. Tomorrow will be a better day! 50%+ Strike rates are still my long term expectation & as you can see with 2 seconds already - both of which nipped by 1 length & 1 1/2 lengths. Brighter things to come.

TcInternational - it is important to remember that Gambling is Gambling & so anything is possible. If you are asking whether it is profitable in relation to other sports then very much so. In my opinion horse-racing is more profitable than anyother sport. I am sure most gamblers will agree (at least those from the UK where we have very good racing). I mean today the winner of the 2-45 was an outsider at 10/1. In order to obtain value like that in other sports you would really have to search hard. On top of this fact I personally very much enjoy horse-racing (in terms of a social event) & the multi-billion pound industry that comes with it.
It is unlikely you would beable to produce profits from horse-racing in others sports. It is by far the most profitable if you know what you are doing & have a sound plan for selecting horses & you can dedicate yourself to the research. You also need to beable to manage your money.
"Is it hard to start in?". Well horse-racing is probably also the hardest sport to make money from. That's why there are all of these poor tipsters that just want to rip you off because they know that people are desperate. If you want to make money, as previously mentioned you will need to devote a lot of time. www.BetterTipster.co.uk is different. You can see that the tips are well researched. More results can be seen on the website. The prices are very good. Hope this helps.

Message for 25/8/08: MAIMOONA failed to run to form at Goodwood today, flattening out in the final furlong. SUPERDUPER was likewise left scrapping for 2nd place and the pair wound up finishing a fair way off the pace of a clear cut winner. Several of the declarations failed to turn out. No let me rephrase that. The race was inundated with non runners. This can sometimes be a that cannot be helped as with all things. It also shortens the price which despite giving the horse more chance to win, often just takes profit off a horse which would have won anyway. There is a suspicion that this one may have been unsuited by a small field on this broad galloping track. Still it is something to be noted for the future & will be yet another aspect I will add to my notes.
Making a lot of appeal for the 5-25 on tomorrows Bank Holiday card at Huntingdon is GOLDAN JESS . Although asked to give weight away all around, this horse has been very consistent of late, hence the rising mark. Tony McCoy takes the ride today, ensuring that this one will be handled with authority and has every chance of landing this prize. Despite being pulled up on his last outing, DARK ENERGY should find trip and ground to suit, but does need to improve - although that could not be discounted. EL COTO and COCONUT BEACH could be competitive, but the fact that McCoy shuns the JP McManus entry looks significant. EL COTO will need to raise his game to be involved.
In the opener at Huntingdon (2-30) NAYODABAYO will take some beating, however, with a lack of apparent dangers, the price may not be best suited to modest wagers. Nevertheless, this horse should carry these around here, and were it not for the likely prohibitive odds, I would happily advise a wager.

GOLDAN JESS is currently 11/4 across the boards
wwwBetterTipstercouk
08-25-2008, 10:18 PM
GOLDAN JESS went off at 3/1. Hard not to wonder just what happened with the selection today. Disgraced in defeat at the back of a good sized field, GOLDAN JESS was never really competitive in this race. I am sorely disappointed in the way this one went out like a light, as well as having to concede my hard earned money to the bookies, which always leaves a bad taste in ones mouth. All plaudits to the Scudamore team however, as you could not have wished to see a more impressive performance from DARK ENERGY. This one absolutely cruised to victory at a hefty 7/1, despite failing to complete on his last outing and certainly made a good impression with a 5 length win, although the form may not be watertight, with several seeming to underperform.
FAZBEE (3-00 Great Leighs) was last seen in group company when slammed by all but one rival. This is now a class 5 Novice race, so with a huge drop in grade, despite the presence of several unexposed types, this one could start at a very short price today. NOODLES BLUE BOY won on debut, as did LEADENHALL LASS, and could still be anything at this stage, but the one who makes a lot of appeal here is SERIOUS ATTITUDE who won readily by 5 lengths beating KINGSWINFORD on his introduction. the consistent KINGSWINFORD won in the week, which upholds the form well, and with FAZBEE downgraded, and a lot of horses open to improvement this could see some real value in the betting. SERIOUS ATTITUDE is a firm selection, in a race that seems to hold a lot of question marks. Any step up on his debut running could see this one earmarked for some valuable races further down the line.
wwwBetterTipstercouk
08-26-2008, 08:44 PM
SERIOUS ATTITUDE did not run today, but is entered for the 5-15 at Bath on Saturday. Although that one could turn out to be a whole lot more competitive than the race that the downgraded FAZBEE ran away with today, it would be folly to rule out a big run at the weekend, as I outlined yesterday in my race preview. NEEDWOOD LAD was also noted today, staying on strongly for 2nd after racing away on the unfavoured far side in Ripons 2-45. The way in which he rattled home, despite finishing behind the winner, suggests that his progress may not be over yet.
As for tomorrow, I would love to say that LET IT BE can notch up a 4-timer in Cattericks 3-20 race. I would certainly not put anyone off backing this horse in his quest for another success, as a race of this nature should be within his compass, as he shown. Keith Reveley`s game stayer dug in well last time over C&D, but a combination of tougher opposition, slightly different ground and top weight mean that, despite having the clear form edge over his rivals, I have passed him over today in favour of THE SALWICK FLYER (3-10, Ayr). Linda Perrat`s horse has bounced back to form of late, only to be closely denied the last twice. Another decent run is on the cards today with Royston Ffrench in the saddle and with the large field, should surely, in my opinion, be available at an each way price. A BIG SKY BREWING is another with claims, although a little one paced in the closing stages over 6f last time out. GRAND DIAMOND must shoulder 9-12lbs off top weight, but Jim Goldie is a force to be reckoned with at these northern circuits, and is capable of being in the mix too. In summary, THE SALWICK FLYER is the selection each way, but it will be interesting to see if LET IT BE has been placed suitably for the 4 timer, which you could not rule out.

Scrappy fare again today, no place for THE SALWICK FLYER. ETERNAL LEGACY was never stopping and the winner was well clear of the rest. Looking ahead to tomorrow, the Callaghan stable is in decent form and ROCKET ROB (4-50, Lingfield) could easily go in again for this up and coming trainer. On a hat trick after very short margin (nose, neck) wins over 6 and 7 furlongs, this is the most solid recent form on offer by far, and a repeat performance should be enough here. STRAITJACKET and WOOLSTON FERRY could prove popular, representing top yards with their own followers, but STRIDING EDGE may be the biggest threat on known form, as he won his maiden at Great Leighs two starts ago in good style. ROCKET ROB, however comes into this in good heart, and may well complete the hat trick.
LET IT BE was impressive when winning yet again at Catterick. The old saying "horses for courses" sure rings true with this admirable performer, who loves it round here and won for the fourth time on the spin. As I said yesterday, this looked another good opportunity that had been found and despite sitting at the rear of the field for a long way, LET IT BE quickened readily to scoot clear in the closing stages.

GRAZEON GOLD BLEND Should not be far away.(4-50 Hamilton) Beaten just a neck by MR HARDY last time, this consistent type will be putting it all in again. FINSBURY and BID FOR GOLD head the dangers in a trappy race, with ELIJAH PEPPER also of interest, but I think that the selection has a good attitude and should go well again for John Quinn.

Hi. How long are you betting on these selections. what staking plan do you use. Do you bet each way or straight win.

Hi there King.
Firstly let me apologize for this aweful run. It is also important to note that this bad run is completely unexpected (That's Gambling nature). I don't expect anything I say will change your impressions of these preliminary results until you have seen proof (As I if in the same position) & so www.Bettertipster.co.uk Will now proof to racing-index until necessary proof is there. Just look at the hard work & dedication put into this service. Each tip is 100% researched from the formbook & at this price you really could not find better value. Much better that one of these "Tips out of the bag" services.
In answer to your questions. I have been backing these selections for about 2 years individually (i,e not a service). I do not use a staking plan as such. But my bets are not levelstakes. I place bets of between £10-£50 per horse & so I do not back levelstakes personally. Though my aim is to provide the best or Best & Next Best horses running in the day & I know that levelstakes are the preferance to many subscribers & so decided to not include that information. Personally I back win upto about 4/1 then E/W over 4/1. I generally say in the messages when I believe a horse will be priced to E/W & so hence advise it. Though obviously if a horse is shorter than typical E/W value (i,e 3/1 or less) then I would expect that individual to take the initiative & place a win bet. Hope this helps, anything else & I will be happy to help!

Message for 31st August:
PRIME MOOD (2-10, Ripon) was turned over last time at short odds, but there are strong grounds to believe that it will be 3rd time lucky today. HOLBERG would maybe pose a threat if anything special on debut, hailing from a much respected yard, but previous experience could pay here, and Bryan Smarts charge gets the vote.
YELLOW FLAG (4-40, Newton Abbot) has become something of a win machine of late, and looks set for yet another victory in this modest company. Although his mark is rising following the completion of a hat trick at Bangor last time out, there may still be sufficient respite from the handicapper here for another success. the consistent SPIRITUAL SOCIETY can chase him home, while David Pipe employs a 7lb claimer to get some weight off the back of STAR OF GERMANY, who could be next best.

Thanx for your detailed explanation. Losing run is just a part of gambling. Do you bet on betfair of your selections. Price at betfair and some other bookies certainly differs.

No Problems. I am glad to help. I back the horses at either the local bookmakers (Coral) or on-course when I have time to watch the horses. I do completely agree that in the long run betfair prices will definatley produce better returns & I would recommend anybody who currently doesn't use betfair to switch over. I have tampered with it but personally just prefer walking into the bookmakers & placing a bet. Probably because it is a routine. I think that although all gamblers want to secretly believe they can control emotions, secretly everybody has their own form of routine. I have lost over £600 in the past fortnight. That's just horrible & even though I ignore that tipping is the cause, I always have the inkling in the back of my mind that this is a jinx, lol. Don't worry though, this is a long term service. My selections do also fall in price very frequently (as you will probably see the differences in the E.P & the S.P). So am considering trading on the selections in addition to my personal backing.

In a bid to end this dismal month on a high note, I will be punting SINGLEB (3-40, Folkestone). This one won as he liked at Leicester over 7f and should not be beaten by LE CHIFFRE, on form thorough the runner up. TEN TO THE DOZEN is a more likely threat if reproducing his latest run, while WHO`S WINNING was not at his best last time out and warrants a look in the market.

A winner at 2/1 today. Now that's August behind us.
Despite it being one of the worst months gambling I have ever had, a profit was still achieved. How many tipsters can truthfully say that? We can. We aim to produce over 20 points profit a month.
YET WE STILL MADE OVER 10 POINTS+++
Now how many tipster can say that in a very bad month they still managed a 10 point profit? Not many. We will produce long term profits & achieve strike rates of over 50%.

Todays Message was:
SPIRITUAL ART merits attention in the 5-00 at Kempton Park. He was inclined to wander on debut and looked a little green, and should no doubt come on for that run. Ryan Moore is booked to ride, and a bold show seems assured. Roger Charltons ZERO MONEY was sent off 13/8 solid market leader on introduction, which would indicate that better is expected of this one, and would have to rate a danger.
CIRCADIAN RYTHYM (Lingfield 2-10) may have a little up his sleeve from the handicapper, despite a 6lb penalty for a win at Great Leighs last time out. That victory was over 1m2f and the step back to 1m today, together with the use of a 3lb claimer in the shape of young Jamie Kyne, can help to offset the penalty as he is equally effective back in trip.
CIRCADIAN RYTHYM - WON 3/1 ++++++++
