Hey guy.
I want to let you guys in on something I've been working on for a while. (No, I'm not selling anything, or looking for any money for anything. lol. Just thought I'd get that out.)
It's a very, very, good number formula, that helps predict the final outcome (score) of any game. Football, basketball, baseball, soccer, ANY. And, It has been doing very well. I haven't placed any wagers myself yet, as I want to test it out for a year before I start using this formula myself. :)
Since the beginning of this week, my win/loss record has been....
7-2 on the 25th, 6-1 on the 26th
My picks for the 27th were
MLB - major league baseball
Under 9.5 runs in the Ny Mets/Philadelphia game WIN
Over 7 runs in the Florida/Washington game WIN
Over 8 runs in the Colorado/Atlanta game WIN
Under 7.5 runs in the San fran/San diego game LOSS
Under 8.5 runs in the Oakland/LA Angels game WIN
Under 7.5 runs in the Kansas city/minnesota game WIN
Boston vs. Toronto BOSTON WIN
Tampa Bay vs. Cleveland CLEVELAND LOSS
I wish I placed all these wagers!
So, what I will do, so any one with guts, or just a speculative interest can just view or place these wagers, I'll post the wagers I come up with, when ever I have a chance. They will posted leaving more than enough time for someone to place the wagers, or just watch the outcome of the game.
Soon, if this works out as planned, I'll eventually start my own tipping site. :) But for now, enjoy! :)
Here are some picks for the 28th....
MLB - Major League Baseball
Under 10 runs in the Toronto/Boston game
Over 9 runs in the Tampa bay/Cleveland game
Under 9 runs in the Kansas city/Minnesota game

What in the world is that "hyip 101" thing that was tagged to my post? lol

At 22-14 you wont be making much. $6,600 profit and youd have to start with over $36,000 initial investment. Once you are willing to put in that $36,000, you wont make anything. Save your time, I have run systems for 6 years, and none work. Instead, don't do any work, spend about 5 bucks for a slate of games to get a winning week by going to www.geocities.com/elroyspicks
Idontunderstand
09-30-2005, 05:35 PM
Well elroy, money is money.
I've been sports betting for a very, very, long time. If you know anything about sports betting, as long as you win more than 60%, and manage your money the right way, you can make 50%+ profit per month. It's all about winning more than you loose, and about perfect money management. You can be down one week, 2 weeks, and have a big boost at the end of the month. Or be WAY up the first 3 weeks of the month, but, get shot down a little, just to the average profit, at the end of the month. That's what sports betting is about. Coming out ahead month after month, making profit regardless in the long run.
These picks here, are just part of an experiment I started less than 2-3 days ago. Which is based on a small, very easy, "formula".
So, just wait around, and let me do my thing.
And just so you know, elroy, the most professional, I mean, THE REAL DEALS, like myself, will tell you, there is no "system" to picking winners in sports betting. Their is only knowledge, clientel, and money management.
:)
elroy

I know systems do not work, which was my point in the previous post. But I'm not talking about 60% profit either. I know that most people shoot for profit, but in my case, betting isn't worth it unless you can really live off of it, and that doesn't mean 50% profit a month. I shoot for more than that - more like 50% profit or more a week. Also, given a large amount of games, one can bet their entire account, and if they don't yield a major losing week (which THE REAL DEALS should do, but don't), you make 20-30% compounded interest from week to week. This adds up to 38 times your money over a season (on the short end), and not 7.6 times, as 50% would yield. My goal is to hit over 66% ATS on the season, which I know is do-able. I'm just beginning to sell my picks for $1 each to prove to people I can do this, and I'm on my way with a 13-6 record last week. If you bet on every game I feature and I go 4-2, that's 26% return on your investment this week, and for $6, you can't ask for much more.

Well I've been betting on sports for over 20 years and have never seen anybody hit 66%, in fact you do not even need a winnig record to make money in sportsbetting,it depends mostly on money management using units for each selection.

Boston wupped the yanks, just like I knew they would! :)
Anyway, the fact is, 50%+ profit per month is much more stable, dependable, and reliable.
Are you telling me you can't live off of 1/2 of $50k a month? $25k?
I know some doctors who don't make that much. :)

Here is the record so far....
HORRIBLE day for the experiment...
MLB
Under 8.5 runs in the Milwaukee/Pittsburgh game LOSS
Under 8 runs in the Philadelphia/Washington game WON
Over 7.5 runs in the Chicago Cubs/Houston game LOSS
Over 8.5 runs in the Atlanta/Florida game LOSS
Under 9 runs in the Cincinnati/St. Louis game LOSS
Arizona Diamond Backs vs. San Fransisco Giants (My selection: Arizona)
Boston Red Sox vs. Ny Yankees (My selection: Red Sox) WON
Tampa Bay Devil Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles (My selection: Devil Rays) LOSS
Texas Rangers vs. La Angels (My Selection: Texas) LOSS
NCAA College Football
Pittsburgh U/Rutgers Under 48.5 LOSS
Pittsburgh U vs. Rutgers (My selection: Rutgers -1.5)
So far, my total win/loss record since starting the experiment on the 25th is 26-19 which is a 57% win rate. This win rate with the correct money management would yeild about 144% profit per month. But, not enough for me. :)
I'll see how the experiment pans out for a few more days, and then call it quits. Perhaps stick to my regular plays..... (I have not placed one wager from the experiment plays myself. Not ready to take that risk yet. I stick with what I know for sure works.)

Well, I shouldn't say I told you so, because it would be redundant. But, I told you so, Idontunderstand. Anything that echoes of an "experiment" and a "formula" is a system, and if it involves numbers it is probably something very similar to one I once ran considering I ran upwards of 1,000 systems over the years. No joke. You'll run the "experiment" for a couple more days and call it quits, because that's what I did. You also will probably just call it quits for a few months or so and come up with another idea, and that will stem off of another one, and so on and so on until you quit again only to start again. There seems to be some tough luck/bad picks on this post, and so I will post my picks on the board after the games start on Sunday, or you can get them before the games start - to profit on - at the site (www.geocities.com/elroyspicks) I've already garnered up some excitement about the site since $1.00 picks blow away the competition, especially coming from an experienced handicapper. Good Luck everyone.
Idontunderstand
10-01-2005, 06:41 AM
Yeah, well I make a living from sports betting.
These "experiments" are just for fun.
Even with this "experiment", with the 57% win rate, and the money management system I use, you'd still be in profit.

Btw, sport betting if you can do it consistently for a long time (years), even 10%/week average is huge. That's much higher than most if not all real investments. But of course, the problem is doing it consistently.
Idontunderstand
10-01-2005, 06:46 PM
poolforprofits, my record is not 15-16.
:)
Why do you keep reposting and putting my record like that? lol. And that's not my record since starting the experiment. I am posting my record myself. I am currently at 28-19 not 15-16.
But to trinary, making 50%+ profit per month is NOT something that isn't consistently possible. The top sports handicappers out there, have been doing it for years upon years. But, mainly with picks that they don't even sell to their/the customers/public. :)
:)
Anyway, I had to make a correction in one of my MLB plays....it was a typo...

Oh I see, what you mean........
These picks are just for the first game in the playoff.....I am putting the entire series odds on there by mistake...
Sorry... :)
I changed the odds to the regular playoff games for tomorrow, not the whole series odds....
My mistake! :)
Thanks for making me see that pmorty! :)

hey man, you keep editing your posts... you are not anymore believable at all because of that :(
Idontunderstand
10-04-2005, 08:00 AM
lol? I am no longer believable?
I edit my posts when the results to a game I posted comes in....
I edit my posts when I needed to change the odds, because I had them listed wrong.... which pmorty brought to my attention....
I edit my posts to post information about the picks....never changing the picks...
Soooo....talkgo....??
What's the problem?
lol

10-04-2005, 08:04 AM
Err....anyway...hope everything gets cleared up with talkgo....
You're a little confused their bro...
Anyway, lol, here are my picks for Sunday Oct. 9th
NFL
New England vs. Atlanta (My selection: Falcons -2.5) -122
Miami vs. Buffalo (My selection: Buffalo) -130
Chicago vs. Cleveland (My selection: Chicago +3) -119
New Orleans vs. Green Bay (My selection: New Orleans +3) -110
Tampa Bay Buccaners vs. New York Jets (My selection: Jets +3.5) -113
Tennessee vs. Houston (My selection: Houston) -143
Indianapolis vs. San fran (My selection: Indianapolis) -1050
Philly vs. Dallas (My selection: Dallas +3) +104
Ps. I know my indianapolis (my favorite team) pick has horrible odds, but, I don't like the -14 the books are giving. The colts are going to smack the 49ers (my second favorite), but, I highly doubt they'll end the massacre with a 14 point lead. 49ers would have to be on drugs to let the colts trench them with a 14 point lead. I may even take the over in that game, but, I don't like the under/over. lol. I HATE it. But, alot of times, when the books offer a line say like.... Seatle +10 (just an example), or the ncaa line I used last week...florida st. -14....When the +/- on either team is a large number, it usually means the game will hit the over. And the bookies know this.
Anyway, good luck to all of us!

Yes, classic move: you think now your inbox will be full with naive suckers who will beg you to wager theior money for huge profits you promise... well, it's not gonna happen mr cars&money scammer
Idontunderstand
10-06-2005, 08:40 PM
Mr. Cars&money scammer?
lol.
Show me some scams I've done, and I'll shut up. lol. No, correction, show me some PROOF of scams I've done. Anybody can create, lie, or fake, but ACTUAL evidence, ....yeah that's what holds weight. If you don't have any, then please, shut up... lol, ok?
And by the way, I don't sell picks, I don't wager money for people, and, most importantly, I don't, and never will, scam people.
Sorry alaves. lol
Oh yeah, however, I did run a very successful pool. But, that was for myself, and a few close friends of mine. That I advertised on talkgold, just to get maybe 1 person, help them make some money. And, ofcourse, because of some idiots on this forum, I had to close it and refund all the money to the members. No big deal though.
And by the way, these picks here are part of an "experiment". lol. Why in god's name would I risk my money, or anyone else's money on an "experiment"?
Man, I can see where this is going to end up, in the warzone, under another "cars&money is a scammer thread".....started by another random fool, who doesn't know anything about me or my past...or perhaps another past scammer, who has an everlasting grudge against me, with alot of random fools on his/her side......
Very sad. lol
