Is wagering on horse racing "sports betting"? They always called it the "sport" of kings.

If so, does anyone out there know of anyone who consistently makes any money doing this? Or do you inevitably always hit that losing streak that kills your bankroll? What are your thoughts?

thx,

S.

haven't found a handicapper that hits consistently all year round yet. Since they run different tracks and different races at different times of the year it is hard to predict a good percentage of wins, they have flats and hurdles and hunt or something like that, but i think they only have to be at above 30 percent rate to be making money, I followed a good system but of course hit the long losing streak and that ended my horse racing carrer.

made a profit last year, not my fulltime job though way 2 complicated 2 sort out when a horse is trying or not, therefore wether 2 trust the form.
and u will need a massive bank and big balls 2 lay the occasional big bet in an attempt to go pro.

I make moner consistently betting on the horses and many other sports. I dont gamble though. I use systems that guarantee succes every time.

Horse racing too fixed for my tastes. As bad as east-european football ;)

Yeh agree with that.

Its like any sport though. There will always be an element of fixing as there is that much money involved.
