Instead of discussing picks and games, people have been critisizing and insulting each other in different ways. I will make some measures from now on:

I will delete posts with insulting comments, personal attacks and abusive language. If you have anything bad to say about someone, use private messaging instead. Also if I think a post will start a negative debate, I will delete it or lock the thread.

I will delete critisizing posts without arguments! Don't tell anyone that he's wrong or that his picks are bad without writing why you think that. Constructive critisicm is ok, as long as you don't insult the person. I will also delete negative comments about picks written after the game. It's ok to thank someone for a good pick, but not to critisize someone for the result of a game.

1. The language of the forum is ENGLISH. Do not post messages in any other language than English. Postings with other languages will be deleted.

2. No abusive language is allowed, no racism, no nationalistic stuff allowed. We have a warning system (internal moderator stuff), 3 warnings and you are out, banned.

3. If you are posting predictions, please mention the reason for your picks, not just "TEAM 1 WILL WIN" !. A reasonable explanation is required. You don't need to perform an analysis, but a few lines of text will do fine.

4. NO topics starting with: "Jimmy's special picks", "Timmy's weekend specials", or other stuff like that. Everyone can see that it looks stupid, and immature.

5. If you follow the picks of someone from the forum this is done by your own choice, and your own risk. Do not come back to this forum and make an unwarranted attack on someone, as it will be dealth with seriously.

6. Explain your message in the title.The title of your messages is the most important part as it tells the visitors what they are going to read. Never start a message header with "How about...", or "What do you think". BE DESCRIPTIVE.

7. Behave like grown-ups. The moderators don't want to spend much of their day cleaning up this forum, as this forum should be a good place for all to share information and predictions. No childish behavior will be tolerated.

8. DON'T even bother to advertise your site, or other sites by posting one line with a pick, and then a link to the analysis somewhere else. This is hidden advertising, and posts like this will be deleted.
If you post picks taken from other sites, ALWAYS GIVE THE OTHER SITE CREDIT, and we prefer that you copy-paste the pick instead if linking to it.

9. NO OFFENDING avatars, meaning no porn, no nazi, no special symbols that have an offending meaning. AND, avatars should be no bigger than 100x100 pixels, otherwise they may destroy the design (tables).Break of this rule may lead the admin to block you from publishing avatars.

10. DONT use pictures in your signature. Excessive advertising in signatures will not be tolerated, and will eventually lead to a ban, unless we find time and tolerance enough to warn you first. No problems with people linking to a website they own, or a service they run, in their signatures, but dont do this excessively. When we see someone with a signature bigger than the average post, there is something very wrong.

The main point is that a signature is a small gesture which personalizes a forum, it should not be more visible than the post itself!!
