If you are posting predictions, please mention the reason for your picks, don't just tell us what you think is going to happen!
Tell us why?!
A reasonable explanation is required.
You don't need to perform an analysis, but a few lines of text will do fine.

dontbegreat, your idea is very good for a sports betting forum. but here, it will be pretty complicated to do that.
i currently have 16 wins out of 19 picks. At the beginning i was writing reasons for every pick, but people were not interested in the explanation, but only in the win.
i spend a lot of time researching and working to get winning picks. i have a life of my own, it is complicated to write and explain each single pick. i would probably rather do more analysis for myself, to improve my picks towards 90% percent winning, then to do free work and free explanations...
i think many of those who do a hard work researching the best winning picks, know what i am talking about.
Purewinners.com never wrote a single line of text explanation. I did that in the beginning, but it takes time, and time is very valuable, because for me TIME means A LOT OF MONEY.
Thank you dontbegreat
Keep up the great work you do here!

Post a stat that pops out or any trends.
It's rarely done here. This is a sports betting folder. It may not be a sports betting forum but sports tipping is involve. This way, it's going to be tougher for 'fixed' game match tipster, tip re-sellers, and other scammers.
You must know something from your analysis and letting others know what they are is not a negative. This should be easy when you do research and analysis.
Good Luck.

Some of you may have forgotten how to read. You seem to know how to post your picks but can't follow a simple rule.
There are those who copy and post tips from other sites and forums.
This might not stop them but at least it makes them do some work for 'their work'

Man, I'm betting on some teams that didn´t even know they existed =)
I think that using the "first week free-picks" policy is enough to detect scammers, if someone is stupid enough to bet his retirement fund on a pick from a tipster who has just signed.. then there's nothing you can do about it
I think they're right this time... this is talkGOLD, not talkSPORTS =)
Let the GOLD talk..

If you expect me to change the rules there is no chance.
Have a good one.

No, I didn't expect you to change the rules.. just pointing out (very gently,of course) that adding 2 lines of info to justify a tip has zero effect against scammers and & or betors.. IMHO
This is a very international forum, and I really donīt care about match/team analisis because I just don't know the players, teams and sometimes the sport itself.
I care about the tipster records, period.
Right now buster06 and tophiter are very solid.. If they said "bet HOME on a snail race" that's where my money goes
=)
