Well, what defines an "addict" is someone that will bet their last dime,....including money they "need" (rent money, food money, bill money etc.), on a game. And, no matter how much they need that money, they just can't resist taking the risk of hitting it big.

A pro-gambler, intelligently, consistently, "gambles", living through the losses, and hitting the industry hard during the winnings. Making a year around living.

If you are winning, and betting intelligently, you are not an "addict".

Well, as you can see, when I post picks, i post them intellegently... 100 on what i feel the most confident 80 on the less confident etc. When I used to gamble i used to play it big, and needed to gamble for the sake of gambling, even if i didnt have that one big pick of the day, i just had to place money on some type of bet, and now that i've stopped, i dont even want to try and come back as an intellegent better, because i know my future.

OK, I'm new to sports betting and I'm a little confused on your post.

"Detroit @ Orlando _________ Detroit 1Half -4____ 35 / .35 units" Does this mean that at the half your betting that Detroit will be winning by more than 4?

"Sacramento @ Phoenix _____Over 210 _________ 75 / .75 units" And with this your betting that the combined score of both teams will be over 210?

"Memphis @ Clippers ________1st qrtr Over 45____35 / .35 units" Also, with this one you betting that at the 1st qtr the combined score will be over 45?

Lastly, what is the amount and units mean?

yes that is exactly right.... as for the units and amounts... it is a general standard that in betting everything is based on $100 bets. Therfore when i say 75, that means im not sooo positive as to say its standard $100 bet. Im only 75% sure. THe .75 units is just anoher way, incase if your not just betting an average of $100 per game. If for instance you like to bet on a standard game 1000, then you would just take .75 of that, and only bet 750 on this game.

Oh i think all the sportsbooks are the same. I use bodog to get my information about the games (the matchups and the injuries), i also look up previous scores of older games, per quarter using sportsline.com. I also use espn to look up injuries. I also use mvpsportsbook.com to look up lines as they come out pretty early with them. And thanks for your compliments.

Well +4.25 units is the profit from day 1. On day 1 i started with only 2.45 units worth of bets. Now there is profit of 4.25 units, therefore there is almost 200% or profit thus far.

Utah @ Lakers means that on the first half combined points will be under 95, and .65 means that on an average bet of 100$ you would bet only 65, right?

Washington @ New Orleans means that on 1st quarter, combined points will be under 49, and that you would bet .75 units (that is 75$ is you are using standard 100$) right?

hey guys, i get many hits to this thread, but not many replies or purchases, so i was just wondering, does anyone actually take my picks for bets, or is everyone in this forum basically a capper, trying to sell their picks to other cappers too? lol Because i go through a lot of trouble trying to come on everyday and post picks, and if there arent any people searching for picks on this forum, id like to know to save myself some time. Well, basically, it's like this.

Most of the people in this section of the forum are seasoned sports bettors....or, atleast know what the deal is.

And, you haven't been here, posting winners, long enough, and making enough profit long enough, for most to finally decide to purchase your picks.

Sports betting is an "up and down" business, with the better cappers/pickers, going up way more than they do down....and the little time you've been here posting picks, really isn't enough a good way to tell wether you are a pro, or just a recently lucky guy...

I mean, you haven't even been here, posting picks, for atleast one season of a sport....so, there's no real yearly, or "season", track of your wins vs. losses....

And to top it off, almost every other day or week, we get these individuals popping out of nowhere offering guaranteed games, guaranteed weekly profit, guaranteed daily profit....and we even get a few that post a few winners, lure people into buying their picks, and start loosing all of their money....blah, blah, blah....which being in sports betting for a long, long time, will verify, there is NO way to guarantee a profit daily or weekly...those are too short of time spans...maybe if they said guaranteed minimum profit a month, minimum profit per season, minimum profit per year...reallistic outcomes, you know?..and, just because someone wins a few here or there, doesn't make them an all around, pro capper/picker....

So, don't give up just yet....give it a few more months....and if you stick it out, I'm sure you'll get some customers...

well I am just glancing through here not really paying much attention as I dont play any picks from this forum. Too many scammers here etc. No real contacts so they can post crap and just come back again etc..

On the other hand I find $20 a day a little expensive. Well ok it depends on how many games from what leagues etc.But also you dont have any history to trakc so no one would buy a yearly package as well.

Also the most interesting for me is ROI%

The total profit aint worth nothing. Cause if I bet 50k and win 1k it s just some lousy 2% but placing 10k winning 1 is some very good 10%

So for any serious better ROI is more important. As I am too lazy to add all ur games up u might do that if u want or just go on like u posted

IM BACK!!! Hadn't seen any good picks for awhile. But today this is a 1.5* pick. San Antonio -4 over the lakers. I know some sportsbooks are 4.5 right now, I say take it anyways. Although I am from Los Angeles, and a laker fan, as a handicapper i must not let bias come into play. And frankly San Antonio is just the better team. And with the tease down to a pick'em how can they not cover? As for the denver memphis game. Although Memphis is VERY good. Denver has been hot lately. AND, lets not forget one thing, memphis aint exactly refreshed, they just got through playing a hard game last nite against the clippers when they were down most of the time, and had to put in all their energy into that second half. Then they flew over to denver, cant possibly have been an easy couple days. Take denver with the tease.
