I was checking the lines today, and there are ALOT of heavily favorites today. Easy picks, but if you happen to lose, you lose big...
example Red Soxs are +300 over Detroit.... Think the Red Soxs are favored?? :lol:

I haven't decided yet on who I am going with... I am thinking about going with BD's service he suggested, but don't know yet. There FREE silver key plays seem to be doing good so far, and their FREE!! LOL

thumpinbass, I went with a high odds game today. It was Oakland over Tampa Bay Devilrays (-220) I don't really like betting high odds games like that but Oakland is on a roll.

that's a good question, underdogs are good to pick if you are using point spreads in certain sports.

For baseball, the move favrite the team is, the more risk there is, so I tend to stay away from those games, cuz if you lose 1 of those games, it takes 2-3 wins to make it up. those days you could go 3-1 and still lose if that losing one was a big favoriote.

on the otherhand, I wouldn't bet on the underdogs either since they are so much a underdogs. Chances are they will lose, so you are taking a big risk on them as well...

Basically, I would stay away from those big heavy favorite games. I would definitely stay away from anything above -200.

Well, Gold-Dott, funny you said that, because he went 4-4 for the night, and I ended up losing $40 for the night.

On Saturday, he wagered at total of $3440 tonight (7 picks), and I ended up winning $280

I am not sure why I didn't posted any picks yesterday, but I can say it was a very good day for me. I went 6-0 on NFL, and 1-2 on MLB, ending the day with $1100 profit. Losing streak seems to be over :D

I thought about gettign into his group, but I join the one that jdayson, or something like that for at least a week. The addy is bettorsedge.net. I am trying to avoid buying anymore picks from anyone at this point and just picking games on my own, and searching for a consensus on my own from various handicappers on their free picks.

As it stands now, I am putting out $500 a month for my managed account that didn't do so well in Sept. Looking for a big turnaround in Oct though.

Even though I am sure you lost more money then I did. I am very upset with myself today. I lost alot of money today without wagering on it. understand?? LOL

I get picks from a handicapper. I usually wager $200 on each pick of his. today he went 4-0-1. So you might say that I won approx $800. Unfortunely, no.

I woke up late today and wasn't able to get his 1:00pm picks in. They went 3-0, and the games I did get on went 1-0-1, so I still made $200 for the day, so I can't complain, but am upset because I would of had won $800 if I would of woke up earlier.

Oh well, I guess you could say I ended with a profit today.
