Hey everyone, here's a wager for you. At my sportsbook, they have future wagers and I did some for the NASCAR race tonight. Love these odds..

These are my picks

Jeff Gordon +400 $100 wager if win - $400
Tony Stewart +850 $100 wager if win - $850
Ryan Newman +1000 $100 wager if win - $1000
Dale Earnhart +2200 $100 wager if win - $2200

My lowest pick was +400, so I made 4 picks equaling $400. AS long as 1 of those drivers wins, I win, or at least break even.

What I can't fingure out is they have Earnhart Jr. at +2200 when he won the Busch Race last night.

Guess we'll see what happens. I normally don't wager on NASCAR because the field is so big, but when i saw those odds, i figure I might as well do it once.

Wish me luck and watch for my drivers.

Well, I went 1-1 today. Fortunely, i put double the amt on the pirates game to win since BD, Gold-Dott and Ace all said the same pick.

Ended the night at +40

That would be great if Ace put his picks on here, but unfortunely, he is the one that does my picks for my managed account so therefor are paid picks, so I would doubt he would ever post his picks here.

That would be great if he did, save me a management fee each month for him to manage my account.

OK, I did a futures bet that Tiger would win this week at +300, and to play it safe, VJ also at +400. Each $100 bet.

I took BD's pick with Boston.
and a 2 team parlay Boston ML and the Over 10.5

Not sure what else I will do. Not to many games tonight, so that will probably be it.

UPDATE* Ace went 0-3 tonight with a 'no action' Definitely a bad night overall. I lost about $950

UPDATE** Ace did 2 addt'l plays that we were informed about til today in an email from him. Luckily for us, he won both of them, so instead of losing $950 for the night, I ended up losing about $500.

UPDATE: I was quite fortunate tonight. I did my usual If-Win bet, in the order above. I made it to the 3rd game before losing, so I ended up +$135 for night. (I doubled up on the Houston game)

If I would have just bet a straight bet for the night, I would of went 3-3 for the night and made a profit $5.

Well, they tell you not to do greedy with your picks. I have in the past and I did tonight. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose.

Guess I will go back to picking 2-3 plays each night for 1 unit each, or pick 5-6 plays at .5 units depending on the nights schedule.

OUCH!! Not a good night for my plays either.

I'm curious if anyone else has either seen or been using bettorsedge.net. You get plays for a week before you pay on your wins. I started on Friday and they've done really well so far. Just wondering if anyone else has been using them.

Never heard of them, so I thought I would check them out. Definitely a different way of making a payment.

The $20 per winning pick is not the way to go though, if they go 2-2 for the night or even only 1-4 etc, then you are losing even more money, and you could probably do better on your own anyways.

I decided to go with the % of profits for a week to see how they do. I'm always willing to try anything once.

Well, not a bad night. Went 3-2, but still lost money as I bet double on the Utah game as it was a 5* LOCK and had a consensus to go with Utah.

Just goes to show that wagering based on LOCKS and star systems don't always work.

Going back to the betting resolution topic. Always bet the same on each game. You'll most likely come out ahead.
