Let's help eachother avoid those bs services that claim a high winning percentage and also praise those that gives a consistent winning percentage..

I'll start this thread off..

I recently gave Crushbooks gold service a 1 month try.. the guy claims he can hit 55% consistently.. needless to say.. he's been hitting about 47-48%..

This is their record if i follow exactly how much to bet each game..

112-119-3 49.5% -$1461 from Mar 16 to Apr 16/06

Over 200 picks in less than a month.. that is far from their 2004/2005 record where the guy average 2-3 picks a day.. This is one service i will never join again..

Now i understand there are ups and downs in sportsbetting, but this is their claim and its the reason why i gave them a try -> This club is for the bigger bettors. Those who have a bankroll of 3k or more. For these members, I've created a low volume, high percentage set of picks for them to place it on. These picks hit at above 60% consistently and they give bettors breathing room because they are low volume, so you won't expect a lot to play.. LOW VOLUME? HIGH PERCENTAGE? I don't think so, i was betting 8-10 picks a day!!!

Unfortunantly been there done that. When I was naive I signed up for his gold picks last year. Your right they are worthless. He is a scammer from Singapore. He claims his name is John Svartsmen but when you pay him by paypal it is Huan Kong or something like that. He also goes to many forums and claims he is a customer making money off of crushbooks when it is the owner himself making the posts. He is a scammer of the worst kind. Aznboi, I am sorry to hear of your losses but thanks for letting everyone know about this worthless piece of trash.

oh yea, there is one thing, the vegassi consensus picks is pretty consistent in going 50% as in win 1 lose 1 without big losing streaks, i was actually profitting with their picks using System 21 from the golden systems ebook before all that Javier crap came along which dug me into a big hole that i'm still trying to get out of..

I used them one time. Their picks were horrible, nothing but losses. They also used to show their history going back a couple of years, then they stopped that and you could only see their history for the previous few weeks, I guess because they didn't want people to see all their past losses.

I've also used http://groups.yahoo.com/group/makemoneyonsports/ and their results are honest and accurate. But they are expensive, it will only be worth it if you are betting bigger amounts, say at least $40 per bet you place.

I'd like to add another service to the sh*t list.. although i just paid for 1 day worth of picks.. Here's the story.. It was after i took a beating with Javier's pick, so i joined maddux to maybe win some money back.. They gave 6 NFL picks, and it went, not 3-3, not 2-4, not 1-5, but 0-6!!!! and guess what they gave a free pick the next day and it went 0-1, so they gave another free pick next day and it won.. so 3 days of picks 1-8 and maddux is done with me.. wtf kinda service is that? i emailed them and they just ignored me..

Although it was just few days of picks, the customer service alone gives this service a F..

I've spent months looking for a decent service. Looked through google, forums. Most turned out to be faking their records or charging extremely high prices for their picks and are 99% scams. So some basic rules:

1) Most ppl that come to forums and advertise their services are either scammers or offer crap
2) Most sites that have too much bookie affiliate banners on their sites are crap
3) Most services that charge like $100 or more for a single pick are crap or scam
4) Any site that offers more than 60-65 percent for handicaps is crap
5) Any site that offers 70 or more percent for 1x2 soccer betting is crap - they'll give you 1.2-1.5 odds or their record is just faked.

After all my searching I found two sites that are worth the money.
One is http://www.triplethreatsports777.com/ - they charge $15 per pick, one pick per day - they are avg 62% since they started, and that is the best you can get IMHO. They also have a forum with a quite large follower base - the url is http://www.triplethreatsports777.com/forum . There are very good free picks in the forum, I've made quite a decent profit from them.

The other service changes a lowsy 6 euro per month and gives a huge return, but there is a drawback - sometimes progressions are used.

So don't buy all these scammers that come here, give "free" picks for a week and then want to charge an insane amount of money for their "service"

Oh, and another thing - fixed games DO exist, but they're not available to the general public, and definately not sold for $xxx on a forum.

Thanks Flunz for the info, i actually forgot about that scammer, but i've tried that service too, and yes they count their losses as wins or that they don't post their losses.. Also, paid for a years worth of picks and the guy sent about 3 weeks of picks and than he stopped sending..

I did make money off his picks as i told him if he sends me 2 winners than i'll pay for his service, and i kept my word but i monitored his picks afterwards vs. what he posted than i knew he was a scam, he also blocked me on msn after i emailed him about his fake record..

So yea, STAY AWAY from surewinkt!!!

lol, i see that he raised the price of his 1 year membership to $450USD, it used to be only $150USD for 1 year.. i also see that his past results are all wins, atleast before he would post some losses in a ratio of 1 lost to 10 wins and a few draws here and there..

That guy is so desperate for clients that i just laugh when i talked to him on msn, well, he gave me 2 picks to parlay and i hit that up for a win of $1k..

Than after the first lost i stopped betting his picks and noticed that he didn't post up the losses, so ended up with a small profit of about $500..

The guy is total trash, if any of you join, prepare to lose, he probably hits about 50% claiming he can hits 98%..

Well they do have potential. I've been with them for around 5 months. Since then they had only one losing month - January, 46.7% I've been "spreading the word" about them for some time, but people don't seem to buy it - they want to get rich in a day. Well, sorry to say getting rich in a day with sports betting is impossible. Well, there was that dude that won 173000 euro with a 1 euro stake, but that's like one in a million. So only ways to really make money investing in sports betting is arbitrage, which is getting harder, trading on betting exchanges and getting a 60% handicap service.

At TTT's free tips you should watch for Caesar's NHL tips and MistaFlava's NCAA ones. You know, every capper has his strong and weak sports. I personally don't like betting on tennis, there's no thrill at it for me. Thrill-wise soccer is the best sport for betting, you people should try it :)
