how did you profit ? i am using betfair and placing £2 stakes on each game, and with yesterdays odds and result i had an overal loss of about £0.55

I bet on all my tips- every day. I bet £10 per game- yesterday I had 5 wins- with a profit of £49.20 (and then my £10 stake per game so a return of £99.20- I had three losses- losing £30. Therefore making profit.

are you sure mate ? ive calculated that your profit would have been £9.20 with the stated odds, becuase 5 wins would have profited you £39.20 and would have returned you £39.20 in profit not including stake. Then minus the 3 losses which is £30 would leave a profit of £9.20 or am i wrong ?

You are having a laugh mate, yes you obviously do get your stake returned, but you DON'T include the stake returned in your profits, talk about inflating your figures, STAKE is NOT counted in returns, all that matters is profit made on the bet, NOT including stakes.

Profit was £39, minus £30 for the 3 losers = £9 profit, NOT £59 as you state :rolleyes:

Yep, I am so jealous :rolleyes:, you just can't seem to grasp what he is doing can you Cosmo, he is a blatant liar, that's what I have against him, he makes out he has been betting professionally for the last 15 years, which is a lie because he is only 17 years old.

He uses his stakes to inflate his profit figures which is not a good sign, and not a sign of someone who knows much about betting at all. Anyone can go on a forum, stick a few tips up on fancied teams, get a few winners and then expect people to buy the tips, we could all do that couldn't we, but we don't, that is what seperates some of us from liars and scammers.

So if people had joined you after giving your previous tips free for a week, they would be paying for these tips you are giving now, and therefore they would all be out of pocket for the fee they paid you and the stakes they would have lost so far.

Which leads me nicely on to the point which I mentioned to you at the start, people cannot see the the long term profitability of any service after only seeing tips for a few days or a week, any tipster can have a good week, so people join, pay the fee, then you have a bad week and they all do their money, that is why I told you to offer at least a month free trial before trying to sell tips, at least over a month, people can get a good idea if your tips were just lucky or if they were consistantly profitable over a month, far better than a few days of free tips.

You say you layed Mallorca and Barca and you know they both won, NO, they both LOST, you layed them which means you are laying them to lose, NOT too win, they have too lose for it too be a winning bet, sadly, they both won:

LSP is worked out as 1 point on the win or 1 point on the lay, nothing really too explain, it's simple. If you back Barca to win staking 1 point at 3/1, your return is 4 points, 3 points profit plus your stake returned (stake not included in profit) if you lay Barca at 3/1, you are acting as bookie, so your liablilty is the price you got for the lay 3/1, they lost so you are minus points x the price layed at, not just 1 point!

You lay them at 3/1, so I decide to take that 3/1 and place 1 point for them too win, if they lose, you keep my one point stake, if they win, you own me 3 times my stake!
