Adding Debit Card to Paypal?

Hi, I have an etrade debit card which has less than $1 balance right now. And I was unable to add that card in Paypal as I get some error.

Is the error due to less balance? Do paypal deduct some money from the card ehrn we add it to out account?

I just got another message from paypal saying my "card verification number is invalid". What is the card verification number in case of a Debit Card? Is it the "Debit Card PIN" or the right-most 3 digit number that we find in the back side of the card?

I think that PP verification doesn't coast any penny

No..I just found out that they deduct $1.95 from our debit/credit card to give the Expanded Use number Seems like I was having the error due to this

paypal verification cost you nothing when you verify with a bankaccount ... then you get money ...much money ...very much money :-) .... paypal will deposit 2 small amounts on your bankaccount ....when you see the two small amounts on your bankstatement then you login in your paypal and fill out a form ...there you have to write the two small amount ....AND THE BEST IS ::: YOU CAN KEEP THAT TWO SMALL AMOUNTS


and if you verify with a cc or vcc or debit credit card then paypal charges your card 1.95 ......and on your statement you see a code that you have to write in the form after loging in in your pp...name ...expuse ( expended use)

got that seems like the problem was due to the amount to be deducted Will fixed that and try it.

and btw. it is not less then 20cent .... the last time i verified a paypal account they sent me ..."21cent" the second was 14cent
