NO References to Exchanges in Signatures!

Would members please note that references to exchanges are NOT permitted in signatures, even if you only ever intend posting in this folder.

g) - Signatures may NOT contain anything to do with exchanges whatsoever

If your signature currently contains any reference to exchanges then we would ask you to amend it straight away.

Please clarify.

An exchange is a deal in the past tense therefore this rule makes no sence to me.

You don't want reference to deals that have already happened?

You can put nothing related to the exchanges in your signature. You can still exchange in the exchange folder

It is, but that's pretty much the standard MO with mods in other parts of the TG forum. I've seen people get a warning for one post, then get banned for asking why they were warned, but that's another story.

Is this rule TG-Wide, or only in the exchange section?
