Who is more unethical Mc Donalds or your local school board?
Just saw Super Size Me where a guy ate Mc Donalds for 30 days straight.
It was a bad thing. I got physically ill watching the movie.
But it isn't all Mc Donald's fault.
Schools should encourage and enable people to live a healthy life style.
My school served hamburgers almost daily. Ditto for french fries.
Should Mc Donalds offer vitamine supplements?
This poll isn't perfect. Just had to get this post out so as I could get some sleep.
Who do you think is more ethical or unethical. Mc Donalds or your local school board?
The movie stated that the Mc Play places were to hook the kids. I always thought Mc Donalds had a good intention of getting kids to be more active with them.

Also think a fat tax might be a good idea.
Wonder if the movie rental thing is paying off for them?

Yea i agree too, McD are very unethical. i mean they have no inch of respect or decency over the fact that they have undoubtedly made Americans officially the most obese nation in the world, thanks to all those greasy fat fried muck they serve labelled "Gourmet" more like bring on the heart attack!!

Its your own fault for eating the unhealthy food in the first place.
Don't blame MCD's.

I agree with Etrader. At my school, they took all soda machines out, so now the kids just drive/walk to costo or anywhere else they may sell soda. To me, it's just a waste of time for the schools to try to reverse their mistakes. I myself eat so unhealthy, only because I CAN and been able to since elementary. But for some reason whatever I eat it has no effect on me. I've weighed 140 pounds for eight months and I'm 6'1". McDs at least twice a week, and two to three cokes a day. Maybe 10-15 years down the line, it'll kick it.

Actually I think schools and parents are more at fault.
Did think more people would come to defence of school boards since most of them are unpaid.

I work in a UK school and they recently went to healthy eating, chips only once a week, low fat, lots of fruit and vegetables etc. The school canteen is now almost deserted at meal times. The kids are all down at the local fast food emporiums, who no doubt are very grateful for the sudden increase in trade.

Re: Who is more unethical Mc Donalds or your local school board?
Here in Australia, many of the canteens still serve chips, hotdogs, meatpies, sweets and soft drinks. I don't know about private schools out in the city but the school boards here have trouble managing the canteen even after all the health warnings everywhere nowadays. Pluggy it seems that the U.K is catching on to American trend!
