How Secure VPN is ?

Hello!

Is anyone fimilar with VPN ?

I want to know if it makes you 100% anonymous since we know that proxy doesn`t.
I want to know if really nobody can sniff your connection by using VPN.

I just learned about it yesterday and I'm already using it to remain private but there is no way you're 100% anonymous with vpn. If you do something bad enough you'll be given up and found.

i use it..and it does make you 100% secure coz the data is highly encrypted

VPN is not 100% secure, but pretty good anyway. It is not used to hide your private information, but to secure communications channel, and prevent outsiders from snooping....

I use it only cos somesite was blocked by the country....

like some porn site.....lol

it is good but I think noone can promise 100% secure

I saw your question, and although the services we provide will increase your privacy and anonymity it depends on many factors. For example, if you have Java enabled in your browser, then a malicious applet (read: executable code downloaded on your pc) can discover your real ip and so on.

The point is, security comes from both sides, from our view, us and the client. Depending on 1 point for 100 % does not work, you have to be conscious and understand that if you care about protecting your identity and sensitive information you have to do also some homework.

Any provider garanteeing you that you are 100 % safe with them and untouchable then you better walk away. Sure, they probably get more business because people believe them, but when **** hits the fan, it's a hard lesson to learn.

Nothing is 100% secure, but VPn is better than socks/proxy, plus it's cheaper.
