I saw in many posts that some people don't type complete batch no of egold transaction or type complete e-gold no. I just want to know that what is the reason? What any one can do with batch no or e-gold no information? What is the risk of giving this information to others?

i think others know your egold number, then they may let's your account got banned.
i have no idea about hide batch number

Yes the batch number can be posted without any risks envolved.

Try to have spare egold accounts one that you use here for contests and few things. Have no funds in that one only put as you need from main one

Im using this method too. I have a different account for contests, investing and the real one.

There is no risk to give the agold no and batch number to anybody as long as you have a very good password and your computer is protected.

I agree. I am sure the reason people don't post their e-gold information is simply built up paranoia over the years.

Is there any amount in that account???? Or available amount in account + 1000$. Just kidding.

In fact I visited my program thread in another forum and saw that my members posted their e-gold history in thread. Forum moderator stopped them to post their e-gold number and batch numbers. Then this question came into my mind that what is the reason beyond this i.e. hiding e-gold and batch number.

I am thankful to everybody for their input in this thread.
