Default Who are the newbies, and should we really care about them?

We often hear that newbies should be protected at all the cost from the evil scams. But who are the newbies? Where do the get money to play? Are they stupid? After all it just takes to google <program_name> +scam to get the answers. If these people are so clueless, where did they get money to buy a computer?

How are you lining MY pockets? I barely play, and I never refer... I always remind people that programs are not true investments... But some people really feel for newbies. Should they? Is it fair? Is it not more fair if smarter person gets more money than a more stupid one?

After reading about the lost hopes and dreams on the official 12dp forum after the faith the poor fools had put in the program and C Johnson were dashed; I feel for them and wouldn't want to be a part of any of it again.

Go out of my way to protect them? No. Take the occasional opportunity to ridicule the program and cheerleaders here and there under a different guise? Yes.

First off, you have to realize that TG is not the holy grail of information for most programs. The most active threads remain in places that do not allow for a person to tell the truth. These forums do everything in their power to protect the program. My Cash Forum and Autosurf Authority come to mind off of the top of my head but there are tons more. Members get banned left and right having never broke a rule but only speaking out. TG is also always mentioned as a place to stay away from and to never believe what is posted over here. Thank goodness TG does allow both sides.

I have seen destruction done to people that were new and really believed the tall tales that the cheerleaders preached. Its sad really and until you hear a few stories then maybe it wont register with you or maybe you still wont care but I do.

A lot of us know what this industry is made up of and its mostly people that are naive or criminals. I just hate to see someone trust their hard earned money with somebody half way around the globe that they dont know and get burned.

Very TRUE

The owner of MCF is a serial scammer who has run a number of failed programs under various names...
He made a full confession in the newscast after he bought that 24something monitor(can't remember name)....happened few months back...

At that EXACT same time he was starting his next scam called prosorceadds (I think it's called) and some other similar site that he made exclusive...

After he got busted on ASA for being a serial scammer, and after deleting my user name 3 times for asking general DD questions that any newbie should ask he locked down the forum tighter than ever so only approved members could read...

Is that where a newbie is supposed to gain their education MrGSH???

What makes you think it's ONLY the newbs that need educating??

I played 18 months b4 I finally realized that EVERY surf and hyip is ponzi run...
Got told a million times but of course I didn't believe it...
Was a post from a nay-sayer that finally got through...

Go read the MI thread...JDT has been playing since the days that I started and either he/she's a great BS'er or he/she still has no idea that NONE of these investments are real and that they all PONZI's

MrGSH go take a looksey in the OT thread at the posts made by all the players who finally worked out what has happened...
check out the list of their loses and then ask them all if they knew OT was just a ponzi??
Check out how many of them found OT via some scam tapes they bought...these people had NO idea that OT was a ponzi...

There are plenty TG members with no idea that these are all ponzis...

The OT thread is just one example....

TG either wants to be #1 or TG wants to just like the rest....(MMG,ASA,dtm,MCF etc)

The day our voice is silenced is the day TG becomes just like the rest

Good question. From what I have seen, "newbies" is a groupthink construct used by scambusters to further their own agendas.

As for their posts warning people, why not? Their posts bring traffic to the forum and keep threads that would be otherwise dead alive.

I do think that people deserve a warning about scambusters as well as about cheerleaders. From my experience, people are screwed by believing either group.

I did do as much research on gary jezowski as i could. I didnt know about the different forums and he didnt tell me about them. He represented this as legitimate investment. He did say not to invest more than you can afford to loose. My problem with him is investments dont vanish with your money they show profit and loss. As far as i am concerned he fed me to the scammers. I have sent him e mail letting him know he now owes me 10308.00. I know your sitting there laughing saying ya right. Well his most prominent problem now is I have investigated further on him. I now have his personal address and fone number that I know are correct....and i only live four short hours by car to his front door. Rest assured I am not going to walk away from my money smiling without getting my money from him or some justification. Had I known your rules b/4 hand or had he not missrepresented and let me know I would say...well you dumm ass you knew going in. Having said that.......Gary Jezorski, if you readng this and I am almost certain you are, dont take my request for my money lightly. Do not underestimate my resolve in this matter. And if I were you the first thing I would do today when I got up would be to write a check and mail it a,s,a,p. My gas tank is full and the garmin is plugged in. As for the rest of the people on this forum you seem like a good group of people. If something like this has already happened to you i am truly sorry for your loss and the damage it does to ones belief in other people. If it has not yet happened.....please read the rules that Wish71 wrote a couple of pages back. I wish everyone a merry christmas and happy new year. For christmas this year I get to explain to my family what has happened.....Wish me luck my wife has a mean left hook...just kidding
