Free Junk Car Removal Scam

If you are in an area where there are offers for free junk car removal, it pays to know that those folks are getting up to 200 bucks for your car by taking it to the area crusher. You heard that right, why give your junk car away? Scrap metal dealers are paying big bucks for scrap metal, anything from cars to old washers and dryers. Theres even folks out there offering 100.00 to come pick up your junk car and drive up to 100 miles to get it. Ever wonder why? Its cause they can double their money just by dragging off your old junk. So do yourself a favor, if you don't have the means to haul your old junk car off yourself, at least make 100 bucks off it. Forget these free junk car removers, they are only preying on the general puplics ignorance.

Maybe but there isn't many of us with a car float or tow truck to do much else with it. They both costing more than you would get for the object to start with

In this part of the world you usually get nothing if you transport the junk car yourself or it costs you money for someone to move it. Thats why old cars are just left rotting in the street. More modern cars with galvanised body shells and lots of plastic parts are practically worthless as scrap. It its running without too much smoke and clattering when you get it to the breakers and the owner is in a good mood (or thinks he can sell it quick for a good profit), you might get a token payment.

I should have said in the US. I wasnt thinking about other parts of the world. Around here theres guys with rollmatics falling all over each other to get all the junk cars they can. They passed a law in my county where if the vehicle isnt tagged and insured or kept in a barn or other building with 4 walls, you get fined. Something to do with making property values go down. Local junkyards will give you 40 bucks and come pick it up free. The nearest crusher to here is 60 miles away and they pay 200.00 for a junked car. Theres people with rollmatics willing to drive 100 miles and give you 100 bucks for your car and scads and scads of others trying to get you to give your cars to them for free. I mean its gotten where its down right rediculous.
Just trying to say why give your old car away for free when you can get paid for it. My apologies to the rest of the world.
