Hi,

I would like to ask if someone knows or has used the services of
Sovereign Management & Legal in Panama for offshore incorporations.
Their web is offshore-protection.com
They seem to be professional but one thing made raise my red flag: in they incorporation package description it states they are offering an included bank account (it seems in Belize) that accepts e-gold transfers...). I don't know any serious bank which accepts e-gold.

Have they perhaps somthing to do with sovereign charterd international bank (scibank.com) which is one of those "smelly" offshore Montenegro banks that are not fully licensed?

Anyone knows the company? Are they serious? (Please have in mind it is not the well known sovereign group).

Any suitable alternatives in Panama? I saw other two providers "panamalaw.org" (the style of their web did not seem to me very trustworthy) and "offshorelegal.org " which gives a more professional impression. Any suggestions and other alternatives?

I can't find back where is stated that they offer a bank account that accepts e-gold ?

Why don't ask them? click 'bank account' they setup bank in panama no alternative option.

No they do not. I have purchase debit cards from them in the past and visited them. They are straight shooters

I am not sure you have researched well enough - they clearly state they are an affiliate of Soverreign Management & Legal S.A on the Scibank website (http://www.scibank.com/offshoreservices.html).

This fact notwithstanding, they also state they have a "full unrestricted banking license" on their site (http://www.scibank.com/aboutus_summary.html) - not sure they still rank as "smelly" then.....

SM&L do however offer a bank account in Montenegro as well as Panama with their IBC set up package. The explanation they gave me for the former option is a matter of time - it takes 1 week to get the Montenegro setup, while it takes up to a month to get a Panama account ready...this seems to large a coincidence if they are not somehow connected to Scibank!

I have been talking with SM&L for two weeks now, discussing various custom additions to their Foundation/IBC package. They seem legit, but how do you ever really know? I have also spoken to Panama Law, and while they are more matter-of-fact, I just felt more comfortable with SM&L. That said, if you review both firm's summaries of for example the Reforestation Investment projects in Panama, Panama Law is clearly the review one would feel is less embellished.....they almost imply it is not an investment at all!

I am about to commit to the Foundation/IBC unmanaged package so I will post my experience here later!

I hope that you are NOT recommending the terrorist bank "First Oceanic Bank" run by English whores and Russian pimps and recommended by
PT Shamrock and Privacy World so stay away from them also.
