As many of you know the Founder of Ebullion has been accused of killing his wife. He was released on $500,000 bail. Meanwhile the site is down and also is under investigation by the government. I know I had some money in there, hopefully things straighten out soon, but I am not setting my hopes high. I'll let you guys know if I hear anything else.

I think the judge canceled the $500k bail due to the possibility of Fayed fleeing the country. I think he is still in jail and will be there for a few month minimum.
The only thing you can do is wait. He cannot steal your funds while he is investigated by the Feds. So there is a good chance you will be able to withdraw it sooner or later.
The only real risk with e-Bullion right now is whether or not the estate has enough backing to pay it's debts. They could have $50M on the books, for example, and only $30M in assets in which case you would only receive < 60% after the estate pays it's receiver.

e-Bullion is likely under regulatory control now, your funds are safe. Same boat as e-gold. There is government oversight which means that any funds they actually have, assuming they match what's in your account, will be safe.
