Well, we have been here for 6 years years now. We have learned a ton in these 6 years, and went through a lot. For our 6 Year Anniversary we want to continue the idea developing and award our members for helping.

So here is what we are doing. Please give 1-3 suggestions that Talkgold could adopt in order to make the forum a better, smarter, friendlier, more entertaining site.

These suggestions could be ideas for new folder topics, ideas for contests, new script implementation, or ideas about anything new you think would make Talkgold better.

I would like to suggest some ideas:

-Giving comission to members that refer an advertiser to the site and that advertiser purchases an ad on the forum.

-Add some new themes for the forum..Change talkgold style to a more younger and active style but indeed keep the gold color...

-Implementing a forum addon that doesn't allow new members to post in the get paid to, contests forum...Avoiding spamming and also cheating in the contest sections. Addon will allow a member to post when he/she has been registered for example for 2 weeks and has a certain min number of posts.

-Adding maybe the main forum page a chatbox for members to talk without having to leave the main forum page.

-A new section or forum (subforum) that only has payment proofs of members from different money making sites...for example adding payment proofs for members in a particular thread that only contains payment proofs for a certain program and no offtopic or any discussions can be posted.

-Referral exchange system where members can exhange refs on different money sites ranging from ptc to hyips and autosurfs...

-Implementing a script that automatically trashed threads made in the autosurf and hyip that are inactive for a certain time...(avoids from people getting scammed and cleans forums)

-adding a rating system that after a certain time when rating is below a certain threshold the thread could be moved to trash or any place on the forums.

Here is what i though :

Upgraded Members & Exchange Member to Member section :

Exchanging between e-currencies are becoming so hard after TG closed the exchange section years ago. Especially SP, STP and AP which are NO way to exchange them to LR or PM. So to prevent the scams from struggling here and there, an upgraded member option will be the rescue to let only verified members to exchange e-currencies with a monthly or yearly fees.

To encourage members to purchase Upgraded Memberships, TG should open a
"Benefactor & Cashback Offers" where only Upgraded Members can open threads there offering cashback to their referrals. Besides, make a monthly drawing contest to let one Upgraded Member to place his 120x120 banner in the right panel for one week for example.

Personal Digest Folder :

Open a section I'd call "Personal Digest". In this section members would be able to post what they are doing to make money online currently, editing wouldn't stop after 24 hours and referral links would be allowed.

In this way members could make threads saying the programs they are in (Hyips, Autosurfs, MLMs etc) and also their views about these programs, as well as amount earned so far etc...

OR ...

Add a TG Community BLOGS where member can put all his programs and links there (or whatever else he wish) it is not moderated, and he can edit it whenever he like.

Contests Suggestions :

I think the contest folder is updated frequently with new contests, even mrGSH, geoff01 and Tdinoz stopped from making new contests. so it should be more active to bring up more participants.

Here is what i think about new contests :

1) Post a picture of a standard deck of 52 playing cards, you picked out a random card.
We should guess the right card ...

2) Push members to search in the history of the forum by asking a random questions, for example the longest thread in TG forum, the first program posted in TG forum etc ....

3) LR Batch Game Spend $0.01 and Get $1 prize :

1. One entry per user per game. If he did not succeed at the first attempt, he cannot make new bets until a new Lucky Bet number is announced
2. Make a $0.01 spend to Liberty Reserve Account Uxxxxxxx
3. Post his spend's BATCH NUMBER in the thread (LR. batch # xxxxxxxx)
4. The last digit of his batch number is his bet in the game
5. The player who draws the Lucky Bet will be a winner. Lucky Bet is a number from 0 to 9, it will be announced and changed after each winning game.

4) TG member Trivia, regarding info TG members have put in posts about themselves. It would require a search and some reading for prep work.
It would likely require some searching on members part.
Give a clue, if no correct answer another clue until correct answer is given.
Examples, Have clues like: This TG member started on April 2, 2007; This TG member Likes to travel; This TG member likes to bet on horses; etc.

Scope to the investors by giving them more leverage :

I feel there should be a team of 2-3 that do a due diligence of certain online opportunities which are legal and guide the new investors through to success.

The only way to do it is verifying the documents of legal programs on the internet and putting all of them to investor's eye. A special section in Auto-surf, HYIP and referral section can be put like, A special place is offered for those programs which gives legal proofs and legal home address and ID verification so that People feel comfortable to invest with those programs.

A certain sections named as:

7 Stars Programs: With legal documents verified and ID verified (Investors also please do their Due Diligence also, and this program not endorsed by TG either, This is just for investor's reference only)

Deny HYIP monitors their right to post "paid" in HYIP threads.
Surely those people will be the first people to be paid - and also the last.
It creates lots of non important stuff for people to read,- and isn't exactly user friendly. The HYIP's are allowed to buy paid stickies and banners, this should be enough - we don't need this place overrun with paid posters as well.

A chat should be integrated,- or perhaps just a channel reserved on IRC. I believe this has been done before - but in my opinion it could turn out as a success. TG could earn some money by using the topic for adds as well and people could meet there and talk further, whenever they would like.

I know it's "just" a forum - but a well visited one indeed.
The whole page should have a makeover in order of design. Websites represents the "companies" behind them - and if they ooze of professionalism,- they are more likely to be visited again and again, both by the "normal" users and the people buying stickies and etc. It's just the same thing as going into a shop, if the shop windows ain't looking appealing, you might not even go in there to start with.
