Guys,

I have some 5 years old Yahoo IDs, today I was opening those email accounts but those are not working. Does Yahoo deletes very old accounts?

Yes, after four months of no activity, they will delete the IDs.

I have had an experience many years back. That time they disabled the account after a month or two of no activity. I remember that I did get my ID back, though, with no old E-mail messages. The rules has changed..

First yahoo deleted the accounts if you have no action in 4 or 5 months. Now the yahoo policy has been changed and account activate till forever if you remember correct your account user and password.

I had one of mine made inactive last year but I clicked or filled something in and got it back. It was explained in yahoo help section at the time

no they just deactivate it

My 3-4 years old Yahoo ID was deleted and I signup again for same ID.
